Surgery is tomorrow and I am extremely nervous, excited, terrified and a million other emotions. I am having a mastopexy with gel implants. Dr. Kanter has been wonderful throughout the consultation through pre-op phase. He has recommended a gel implant with lollipop lift and I trust this will give me the results I want.

I have found the reviews so helpful and hope my journey will help someone else. I will post again tomorrow hopefully after the surgery if I am up to it. By the way I am a 39 year old mother of 4 children. My breast have gone from a D to an F. He will take them down to a D and give me a lift. I will keep you all posted

I was terrified, too. My surgery was last Thursday and so far, all discomfort has been very manageable. But as they wheeled me into the OR, I wanted so badly to yell, "Never mind, I don't want to do this!!". Kept my mouth shut and here I am with beautiful breasts!

I arrived for surgery a little after seven am. The two nurses assigned to were awesome and did my vitals, iv etc. Then Dr. Kanter came in to mark.my body. He measured, measured again and made his guide marks across my body. After that I was asked to into the operating room. Dr. Kanter put tight stockings on my legs to prevent blood clots and drugs were put into my iv to put me to sleep.

The two amazing nurses were back and I felt very drowsy. I didn't want any crackers because I had no nausea. I did request to use the bathroom I couldn't go on the bedpan.

I was escorted to my husband in a wheelchair and came home still feeling very drowsy. I woke up to go to the bathroom and got my first glimpse. Love at first sight. They are in the compression bra and are swollen. Hopefully they are the Ds I requested as swelling goes down. There was some bleeding but I have no drains.

follow up visit

I just left my follow-up visit as usual Dr. Kanter explained what I was feeling and what I need to do to improve results. They are quite swollen but I am excited about my smaller perkier breasts.

He explained that I have a 300 implants which is small but my pockets inside are big so I must push the implant Up 5 times a day and in 5 times a day. He also placed an ace bandage around my sports bra for additional support.

I did need different pain pills so he gave me a prescription immediately. I think they look amazing.
