My healing has been great. I spit a few stitches between weeks 2 and 4 but they're healing nicely. I did end up with a short vertical scar because there want which skin to pull down. In the end this is not an issue.

Morning of surgery, everything ran smoothly and on time. Surgery was roughly 3 hours. I was home in the afternoon.
9 days post op I had my follow-up appt, bandages came off, all dissolving stitches except belly button. He removed those, removed my drains and gauze my belly button. I have enjoyed every appt I've had with him.

My first consult in December '17 with Dr. Hynes was great. He is very informative and confident in his abilities. His before and after photos are exceptional keeping the scar very low. My pre-op was today Jan 25/18 and he went over every detail in my file. He went over a detailed explanation of all risks of procedures and answered all questions. I called the first week of January to book my procedure and i wad able to hwy am appt only 8 weeks away. I'm excited for my procedure in February. Pics to come.
