Don't Wait As Long As I Did to Get a HALO

Getting amazing results from my first series of BBL treatments gave me the courage to take it to the next level with the more aggressive HALO treatments. Working from home and needing to wear a mask everywhere due to COVID, finally gave me the opportunity to try the HALO as it requires a week of downtime, scaring anyone close to you who sees you, stating "WHAT did you DO to your face??!!!!!" in complete horror. Yes, you look a bit scary for a few days, but the results are so worth it. As someone who has battled severe acne for a good chunk of my life, it blows my mind that I am getting the skin of my dreams, and more importantly, erasing the physical evidence from years of painful memories having ugly skin. (As in, "no one wanted to be your friend, be seen with you, or date you" skin, because I looked that gross.) The women and men in my life who have no idea that I'm getting laser treatments, now frequently remark that I look incredible and glowing and ask me if I'm wearing "new makeup", if I got a tan, or if I have good news to share. My skin was never something anyone complimented me on, and now I get compliments all the time, and even from folks who barely recognize when I get my hair done (lol) The common belief is that you are more beautiful when you are younger, but the reverse is happening with me. Each HALO treatment removes the scarring and pitting of acne scars that were unfortunately created prior to the merciful invention of Accutane. I NEVER EVER thought I would ever have the freedom to leave the house without makeup, but here I am, in my 40s, getting beautiful, glowing, smooth, even-toned skin, and it is blowing my mind. I look more beautiful now than ever with a bare face. It's wildly exciting to see the progress with the photos after each treatment. You would think that after having ugly skin for years I would never forget, but I have quickly started to get used to my "new face" and have difficulty remembering what things looked like just a few months ago (well, until I look at old photos). It is a blessing and liberating. For those of you who have battled serious acne in your youth, forget the toners and serums and foundation, and do yourself a favor and introduce yourself to Isabella and let her guide you through the world of laser treatments. Her technique, just like she did with the BBLs, is to start off lighter to see how my skin would react, and then go stronger the next time. And again, she followed up multiple times after the procedures to see how I was healing, wanting to see pictures/feedback, so she knows how to tailor future treatments. I don't feel like a "number". I feel like her work is important to her, and that my results really matter. Each interaction and treatment builds more trust and respect with her as a professional.
