Halo Laser Performed, Complete Disaster

$2,500
I have had three different procedures from FACE. Spent thousands of dollars on Secret RF, Emsculpt, and HALO laser. The ladies are kind in the office, but a totally waste of money. HALO totally ruined my skin. They tried to blame it on me, my skin, the environment etc… instead of actually helping me. I went to a dermatologist to find out they performed the procedure incorrectly. Had to spend more money to get my skin fixed at a dermatologist office after spending $2500 on one Halo treatment from FACE. They are not a dermatologist, and should not be treating peoples skin with a laser performed by an esthetician. Do yourself a favor and save your skin and your money!
UPDATE: 8/16/2021
The owner of FACE called and emailed me to take my review down. I will not be bought for $800! (Emailed attachment below). Now I’m being blackmailed that they will put up before and after pictures from a previous treatment that has no relevance to the HALO laser. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. If pictures are posted, further action will be taken and I will post my skin now and before the HALO laser (True unaltered photos). I stand by my review as it is true. I don’t appreciate trying to be bought or threatened into doing something that suits a companies lies. The truth is they have no business running these machine with under qualified esthetician’s. A doctor should be on staff for aftercare problems PERIOD!

Thank you! It would be the responsible thing to do, and professional. The way they handle things were horribly wrong. It’s unfortunate because I was really excited after reading reviews on here:-( my skin looks worse then it did. It’s horrible!

did the derm ever say what went wrong? im intererested in the halo, any pointers ?

Yes it was performed incorrectly, I needed steroids and anti inflammatory medication. Then months later after I was healed I was left with saggy skin that I never had before. I’m addressing that currently. My advice if you decide to do it, have a educated dr perform the procedure that can treat any adverse reactions after the laser!

I have had 3 HALO procedures and to me it looked great but you have to continually keep doing the maintenance. Not only did the hyperpigmentation come back but I have more now. I do not blame the facility that did it but I think people such as myself, have to remember that you will need to do this every year. If you think your pocketbook can not afford it, then my suggestion is do not do it. I don't know if I ever heard that before. It definitely should be told when going in for consultation.

I'm sorry this happened to you . This is why I tell people byer beware. I am a certified Medical Aesthetician and I am a laser officer . I always pretreat my patients with medical grade skin 4 to 12 weeks prior to treatment depending on the skin type. This very important! Even though this treatments are beautifying. These are still medical procedures. I had a skin type 5 come see me. Her face was burnt left her with hyperpigmentation. She was devastated. Long story short. Her skin looks amazing and she's over the moon with her resuts.
