Not Worth It....post Laser Hyperpigmentation

$2,500
I had BBL and Halo 5 months ago and have developed terrible hyperpigmentation from the treatment in spite of having very fair skin and using sunscreen daily. I have begun topical treatments to hopefully correct the issue but I wish I had just left my skin alone.

Have you had any luck with this getting better? I just had the procedure a few days and was told to start my skin lightening regimen 3 months prior and to continue it a week after the procedure. I’ve been using their custom CosMedics brightening pads from the CosMedic Skincare clinic in Seattle/MD Jodi Reinhaetson. Lisa is great. Since I don’t do well with hyroquinine these were a great alternative. Hydroquinine actually started to give my hyperpigmentation with prolonged use. The pads caused my rosacea some irritation at first but I discontinued them for a week and restarted just fine and have been using them since. They’re $160 but last several months and will mail them to you. I suffer from rosacea and melasma and it took mine down about 75% pre Halo. I suffer from thyroid issues and I think it messes with my other hormones. I did my research and traveled for this procedure. Not trying to sell you on anything but Lisa from there would def help with suggestions for free, might want to email her and ask for suggestions. I will let you know how mine heals.
Hey! I am in the same boat. I am 8 weeks out and my skin is getting darker by the minute. Did you find anything to help?
I had same reaction; fair completion and regular use sunscreen. No hx of hyperpigmentation until I did Halo. Hyperpigmentation stared immediately in winter (after halo) and worsened in summer. Also became hyper dry and sensitive. Can’t use my retinol w/o getting red spots from irritation and struggling to find antioxidant that won’t make me bright red w/i 5 days of use. Summer months are worse for redness and irritation from sun and heat. I feel like I ruined my complexion w/ Halo. Worst decision I ever made for vanity.
