Halo laser for large pores and scars

After picture. Months later. No makeup. Pores shrunk a tiny bit. Scars faded. Hardly any break outs anymore. I wish it helped my pores more. Im not sure how I feel about it. I was told 1 treatment would be enough for me but I don’t think so at all. Next time I’ll be trying microneedling with prp or IPL.

Day 5.
Today I’m five days out from my halo laser treatment. I’m very dry and peeling a lot. Underneath the dead skin is glowing , super pale skin. My pores do look noticeably smaller and no break outs thus far. Swelling is completely gone. Redness is basically gone, now just have the brown sloughing skin. I still can’t tell if my scars have faded.

Have you tried an IPL Facial?
I have not.
Ive started doing it for my large pores and even after 1 session i see improvement. Look into it if the halo doesnt give you the results you want. Groupon has deals for it too.
I had Halo at Newman Plastic Surgery in Orlando, FL and it was the best procedure I've done for my skin in 10+ years and had incredible results (far exceeded expectations) and was definitely worth it. Eliminated brown spots (far better than I expected), minimized a couple scars I had for years, skin is smoother, and an unexpected benefit (no more terrible adult acne). I was incredibly happy with my results. Dzi Newman, PA-C is the one who did my procedure and was very thorough and took a lot of time with me so that may be why I had amazing results. I was thrilled within a couple weeks but my skin seemed to get better and smoother for several months. I'll get my before and after photos to post. If trying to get rid of any brown spots and even the skin color, I loved my Halo.

My pores are basically the same size. Acne scars faded a lot. Not as many breakouts. Less oily.
Sounds like you had awesome results! Especially if this is your first session! I have read it’s best to do a series of 3!

Worst look yet
The peeling has begun. It’s very dry like sandpaper. The swelling is almost gone. I will be hiding today as it’s the worst look yet. No pain or discomfort. Today I put on SPF. The doctor said I would be able to wear makeup but no way is that possible with this shark skin. Hopefully the results will be worth it.
