Halo and BBL Laser Treatment - LOVE IT
WORTH IT$1,000
I had both Halo Laser Treatment and BBL (Broadband Light) at Dr. Bohley's plastic surgery clinic. The service was performed by Robin, R.N. who was AMAZING. I was pretty nervous as it was my first laser experience on my face. (I've had laser to remove a tattoo before - a totally different experience which I will share later).
What is Halo?: Halo is a laser that helps to improve tone, texture, and smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. It also helps to balance skin color. It creates tons of little, tiny holes in your skin - kind of like aerating the lawn. It promotes collagen production and improves the overall appearance and feel of your skin.
What is BBL?: BBL (Broadband Light) is a laser treatment that targets sun damage, freckles, age spots, and discoloration.
How long did the treatment take?: It took about an hour for the Halo. Robin prepped my skin with a topical lidocaine treatment first so I was mostly numb and comfortable. She applied a cooling cloth to help sooth my fresh skin once the treatment was complete and gave me some Aquaphor and care products to apply once I got home.
What did it feel like?: It was tingly, but it didn’t really hurt. The laser treatment itself was fast and basically painless. My skin felt hot for about 20 mins after the service but wasn’t unbearable.
What is the healing time like?: The next day my face looked like it had a sunburn. I kept Aquaphor on it to help with healing, but I was at work. No one really noticed anything, but I looked a little like I had too much sunshine. Within a couple days I was back to normal and wearing makeup.
It was totally worth it, and I was really happy with Dr. Bohley and Robin, R.N. They were super nice - and I always get anxious - yet they made me relax and feel comfortable. I highly reccomend them! - See my video at https://youtu.be/2pzuWgZweSo
