Halo Laser, So Far So Good!
seger26January 26, 2019
Had my first halo treatment one week ago today and thought I’d share my journey. I’m 44.
Was numbed and the actual procedure was uncomfortable but doable. I had a pretty deep treatment for a scar and to improve texture. It burned after! I immediately was uncomfortable and was driving home with ice packs on my face. It was like I put my face in a hot oven. As soon as I got home I was miserable and put a cooling mask on they gave me and sat propped up for a few hours. My face felt like it had a heartbeat. I took ibuprofen and Benadryl and slept in my chair. The first few hours were not fun.
I was swollen on day 2 and a hot mess for 4 days. Rough, dry, peeling. By day 4 I could go in public.
I can see an improvement in my scar and texture already but it’s too soon to tell really. So far, very much worth it!
