Halo Laser - disappointed with the results currently

ORIGINAL POST

Halo Laser

I had the Halo done a week ago and disappointed with the results currently but I’ve heard it takes a few more weeks to see complete results. I did not have much peeling and I thought I would have given how red my face became after the procedure. I have aging spots that I thought would be gone and are still there. I paid $1100 and that’s a lot for not getting great results.

Please keep us posted! thinking of getting this done
They can perform the procedure with several different settings, maybe your provider can give a deeper treatment next time.
I would love an update too! My surgeon recommended I do it at the same time as my upper blepharoplasty but not sure it's worth the $1800.
It’s almost 2 months now; what are your thoughts? I just had the regular BBL and am satisfied with my results. I was considering the Halo next but might not need it now….
It all depends on the settings. Sometimes, we (doctors) error on the side of lower settings to prevent adverse events. The manufacturer has their recommended settings and in my experience, they are too low. Every training session I have attended, the settings are higher, and the doctor prefaces it with some sort of CYA statement. Don't be discouraged, collagen production occurs over months. Personally, I tell patients they need two treatments for best results. At our med spa, if a patient isn't satisfied we offer to perform another treatment for free or at cost (if it has consumables). If you had some sun spots, they should have offered the BBL Hero to follow the halo procedure.
