I wonder if my hydration and skin barrier will ever be back to normal
ORIGINAL POST
Halo + BBL + CO2lift Mask
$2,200
I have had 3 Halo + BBL Laser combinations since 2020. Very happy first 2xs so much so that I referred all of my friends and clients. 3rd time the nurse told me to apply CO2lift when I got home which was new, I noticed my skin felt much drier than usual while healing and I didn’t have the same wow factor results so I booked a 4th laser treatment 6 months after the 3rd and without discussing with me the nurse applied the CO2lift immediately after HALO + BBL telling me this was the new protocol and sent me home to remove in one hour. The mask felt tight and I discovered it was practically glued to my skin when I attempted to pull it off the way I was instructed to remove. I had to wash it off with water to get it off my face. To say my results were negative is an understatement. For the last 4 months I have sought second and third opinions- it has been a very slow healing process. At this point I wonder if my hydration and skin barrier will ever be back to normal.
Side note I spoke with the rep for CO2lift mask and she told me that the mask is not to be applied to skin post HALO laser for 48hrs minimum. I asked to doctor and nurse who did my treatment and the told me that this was the way it is done by doctors across the nation.
