I have always had a larger than average nose - but...
I have always had a larger than average nose - but it never affected me to the point where I wanted to change it. But when I was 19 (I'm now 26), I injured my nose and was left with a bit of a bump. The fact that it wasn't my "original" nose anymore bothered me. But again, not enough to get surgery. Then I heard of people getting Juvederm (or other dermal fillers) into the "dip" before the bump to smooth it out. I was intrigued and booked by appointment. The Dr. said it would last 6-12 months, which is pretty good. But I have to say, it feels weird. I can really feel the added volume on my face. Maybe it's just the feeling of swelling still though (it's only been 3 days since I had it done). I love the results, but we'll see if the swollen feeling subsides soon. *note: I had mine done at a spa on Spring Garden (in the Park Lane mall) which also provides botox/filler services. This procedure was not advertised, but I contacted them and asked if it was something the doctor was experienced in and they said yes.
