Hair Transplant Gone Wrong

This is the first bad review I've ever left and I hope it makes an impact to discourage others in going through what I went through. Through the whole process up until the surgery itself, they had me believing I was the perfect candidate for a hair transplant. They advised me that I needed only a medium sized surgery to be happy with the results. I still decided to opt for more Grafts then they advised paying an extra $2,874.37 on the day of the surgery on February 17, 2023, getting their maximum number of grafts for a given surgery since I did not want to go through this more than once. After the surgery, I followed all the recommendations for washing and healing (no hat, sleeping at a minimum of 45 degree angle, products and technique for washing, medication, etc.). I was extremely swollen for over one month. Fast forward 12 months and as you can see in the photos I've posted, it looks much worse than before the surgery and completely unnatural. I had paid a total of $14,141.92 for 1500 Grafts to get a result that made me completely uncomfortable taking off my hat in public. At this point, all I wanted was to undo this surgery and go back to the natural receding hairline that I previously had. On top of that, Groupe Medical PAI did not do any follow up with me to see how it was going and how the results were. I had to call 12 months after my surgery to ask to have a follow up. When meeting with them for the follow up, all they did was suggesting another surgery with them and saying that this time, everything would be good. No comments about what went wrong with my first surgery, no refund of any kind, just a suggestion of paying for another surgery. Obviously, with everything I went through, there was no way I would trust them to touch my head again. That is when I looked into Turkey which I went and received a second hair transplant one year and a month after my first transplant for around $6,000 including 4900 Grafts, PRP, transportation and 4 nights at a 5 star hotel. This surgery went fantastic, completely fixing the mistakes of Groupe Medical PAI. On top of it, no swelling, extremely fast recovery and I can already see that I will have the hair that I was promised in my first surgery. I hope this can be a lesson to others to avoid this place, I know if I would have seen this review before going there, I would have been able to avoid all of this pain financially and emotionally. When I think of what I went through with Groupe Medical PAI, all I can think of is that I lost a whole year and a lot of money. These photos I've posted are embarrassing to me, I'm just hoping that it helps some of you to avoid what I went through.
