Thanks for sharing, pal. I think mine is going to look exactly the same as yours. I’m also currently wonder if I can go through it again too. I’ve already had another round of SMP to ‘thicken’ it up

Nearly 1 year

My hair has continued to get stronger. I do keep it very short as its just not thick enough to grow longer but this will do me for now :) not an ideal pic but was taken recently and shows the hairline thickening!

That looks so awesome mate. I’m still only at 4 and a bit months but I’d be over the moon with that. When you get a chance I’d love to see a pic of the back too please. Just because I’m contemplating going for a second FUE to fill in my crown. I had pretty much the same amount of grafts as you too

Still growing!

Quite happy with how its coming along. I keep my head shaved on back and sides and shaved on top. The SMP has helped make the hair look thicker and darker. I don’t think ill be able to grow it very long as its not thick enough but still better than nothing :)
I think if you make peace that a transplant doesnt restore a full head of hair but makes you a lot less bald then you’ll be very happy.

What do you think of your donor area? it shows clearly diminished and the extracted zone!
Fair question. its definitely improving month by month but its very slow. I had a big transplant (around 4500 grafts i think) and i shave my donor area plus sides. It is a little more harsh in pictures but something i’ve had to make peace with
Thank so much for sharing this update. I'm in EXACTLY the same boat as you (Had SMP too) and if I can get to a position of peace like you, then I'll be absolutely delighted. I never came into this expecting to look like Kit Harrington from Game Of Thrones afterwards, but if it boosts the effect of my SMP, look thicker and gets rid of that pesky shine and look like yours does now, I'll be delighted. Saying that, I'm coming up to the 2 month mark and it feels like nothing is happening at all hahaha
Sounds like you’re on the right track! 2 months is the zone where nothing really happens. By Month 4/5 you’ll notice a fair bit of growth. I got a transplant mostly for the extra darkness on top, more natural texture and hairline and to get rid of the bloody shine
Cool, fingers crossed! I'm going to investigate if it's going to be ok to get my SMP topped up too over the FUE just to add a bit more density... Will continue to watch your updates with interest :)
You should look at getting SMP done on your donor site as well. That'll fill everything in nicely and make the transition look smoother. Looking awesome so far :)
I guess that if you’ll do smp in your donor area- it’s going to look awesome
Hello, how's it all going? Would love to see another update please (especially because I'm in the same FUE/SMP boat).
Yep added a new update :)
