At first, I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to have a hair transplant. I had already lost quite a lot of hair and thought becoming bald was simply something I had to accept. Then a friend of mine had a transplant with great results, and I thought: why not give it a try?

I scheduled a call with Dr. Cinik’s team, sent them my photos, and everything was clearly explained. After that, I just had to choose the date and book my flight. I had my transplant at the end of November.

From arrival at the airport to the hotel, examinations and procedure itself, everything was very professional, well organized and on time. The doctor was very friendly, explained everything I needed to know and carefully drew my new hairline. The medical and supporting staff were also friendly and professional.

The procedure took around eight hours and I received approximately 4,200 grafts, including around 150 from my beard. Afterwards, I received all the necessary medication, shampoo and detailed instructions for the first days and weeks.

The first 10 days required some extra care, and sleeping on my back was probably the hardest part for me. After that, things gradually returned to normal. During the first months, most of the transplanted hair fell out, so by months two and three I was almost back to where I had started. But after the third month, the new hair really started growing, and month by month the difference became more visible.

The photos I’m sharing are from around nine months after the procedure. I think there is still some density to come, but I’m already very happy with the result. I’m continuing with the vitamins and supplements recommended by the clinic.
