Hair Transplant at Medispa Hair Transplant Clinic – Jaipur
Baldness runs genetically in my family, yes it is unfortunate but can’t be helped! As a businessman, I have travelled across the globe, interacted with several doctors, spent a reasonable amount of money on hair care products sold to me through family, friends, internet towards one goal – Prevent hair loss. While I am not generalizing that these products do not work, but in my case and in several cases that I know now they have proven to be of little use or rather little long term use.
The only permanent treatment for hair loss or permanent hair loss is Hair Transplant. I have travelled enough on account of my business and I know how this is so readily available throughout the west. I was a bit surprised to know that even in India and in my own city Jaipur there are some world class surgeons who are using the latest technology related to the procedure and are celebrated surgeons worldwide.
I discussed this with some of my close business friends and one name that everyone mentioned was of Dr. Suneet Soni, the owner of Medispa Hair Transplant Clinic. Through internet I was aware of several attributes to be verified before finalizing a surgeon such as
1. Academic Background/Super Specialization – Dr. Suneet Soni is an MCh and that answers it all
2. Experience – He has over 15 years of experience after having treated more than 5000 cases. The results of his past surgeries I verified through internet or by contacting several of his past patients.
3. Personal reputation – I verified the international accreditations and recognitions conferred upon Dr. Suneet Soni.
Eventually, we decided to meet him and I reached there with my father (who is also almost bald on the top of the head – Genetic baldness as I did mention). Dr. Suneet Soni heard us patiently, performed some diagnosis and advised some basic blood tests etc. What I liked most about him was that he was not selling us the procedure, instead he was very consultative in his approach explaining us how the procedure functions and why it can provide natural looking results. I learned from him that the reason this procedure provides natural looking results is because it involves transplanting my own hair roots from back and sides of my head to the top region of my head. Apparently the roots on the back and sides are permanent and are not impacted by hormones.
He further explained to us about two techniques FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) and FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction), he advised to use FUT in my case. My dad has never been a fan of surgical interventions but after this meeting, he also showed his willingness to take this treatment. I was pleasantly surprised how he changed his mind. Dr. Soni advised after checking his condition a combination of FUT + FUE technique.
So, we booked two slots for surgeries and on the due date we reached the centre.
Another best part about Medispa Hair transplant clinic is its infrastructure, the clinic looks to be world class with latest technologies, impeccable hygiene practices, experienced and professional staff and that only Dr. Suneet Soni treats all patients by himself. It is such a relief!
The procedure was painless as it was performed under anaesthesia and lasted around 3-4 hours for me. I was released the same day with some list of instructions and dos and don’ts.
For my dad they also used an additional PRP (platelet rich plasma) therapy followed by hair transplant. This therapy supposedly fastens up the hair recovery process and Dr. Suneet Soni advised that we use it in my dad’s case.
It took another 3-4 sittings for monitoring the hair growth, initially in my case the new implanted grafts showed some hair loss but Dr. Soni advised me that it is nothing to worry about and let’s wait more, eventually after 12-18 months both me and my dad had natural looking hair back on our head. I personally felt 10 years younger self of mine!
