I Am Happy with the Results
WORTH IT
I started experiencing hair loss just after I turned 40, I felt quite lost. I knew that pre-menopause came with many changes to the body, including dry hair, but I had not quite expected it to fall off. To be specific, I had female pattern hair loss with thinning on the top of my scalp. I looked around for solutions, and that’s when I decided to contact Heva Clinic because their pricing and reviews stood out to me.
The medical team was incredibly patient with me. We designed everything together and that checked all my boxes. Not only would it increase the density on the top of my scalp, but I would also avoid shaving off some parts of my hair. Better yet, they would extract the hair follicles in a section that I could easily cover up with my hair. Of course, they would have to trim this donor area, but I would barely notice it. I got 2,300 grafts transplanted on the day of the surgery. Rather than harvest them all from one area, the surgeon harvested them over different sections, explaining that this would prevent overharvesting, as this could make my hair look even thinner. I happily obliged. The weeks following the surgery, I followed a very strict washing protocol and also had PRP treatments done to support the transplanted follicles. I stayed a few more days in Istanbul to facilitate this, though I know that people can do without it or get it back home. But I liked being near the clinic as they were very instrumental in my aftercare.
I am now able to wear my hair in different styles. It has only been six months, but the initial growth has already increased my hair density such that I can see less of my scalp now. I am happy with the results so far and cannot wait to see how much more growth I will have in the next half year.
