Hair Implants - Dr ARSLAN Musbeh - 3200 Grafts - Hairmedico Istanbul - 18/11/2020

Here are some pictures pre-surgery, 7 days post surgery and 7 weeks post surgery. At the moment, everything seems frozen and I can't see much improvement but it is normal so no need to worry at this stage. Hair should start growing in the next 4 weeks or so. I can see my new hairline though and I can't wait to see it with more hair.
The donor zone is still a bit aching a bit but overall it has healed quite well.

I had a hair transplant on Wed 18 Nov with Dr ARSLAN at his private clinic in Istanbul and I could not recommend enough his talents and services. From the first contact until now (5 days post op), everything has been incredibly professional. The communication with Anais for the enquiry and quote part was seamless and every question was answered very promptly. I received a proper quote with an assessment of my condition. I did it for many hospitals in Istanbul but only Hairmedico handled it this way and they told me from the very beginning that I could not expect more than I could get. I thought the honesty was a key factor here as many clinics will overpromise in order to get patients in. Then the arrival was smooth as silk as I was picked up at the airport without waiting more than 2 minutes and driven to the hotel in a nice part of town.

The following day I was picked up by Anais and taken to a lab to do a Covid test to be able to fly back to France. Anais organised everything and was incredibly professional through the whole process. I then arrived to the state-of-the-art private clinic and met Dr ARSLAN. We had a 30 minute appointment and after asking me few questions started to draw the hairline with his team. Dr ARSLAN is a very experienced doctor (15 years) and did the extraction as well as the incisions. I had a quick lunch which was organised for me and the whole surgery went for around 6.5 hours which is a long time and felt quite long especially towards the end but it all went well overall. Dr ARSLAN did most of it and then was helped by his assistants but was checking in every 10 minutes to make sure everything was going smoothly. 

I then had a debrief with Dr ARSLAN for 15 minutes and was given antibiotics for the next 10 days. 

Overall the process was painless with just a few moments of minor pain but the first night was a bit painful and I had to take paracetamol and then it was fine.

I went back the following day for a control and a first head wash and I am now at 5 days post op and so far so good. The follow up from Anais has been tremendous and the after care is what you won't get in any other hospitals in Istanbul.

It is worth mentioning that Dr ARSLAN only takes 1 or 2 (rarely) patients per day and that guarantees a fantastic level of service and dedication which you won't get anywhere else so for that very reason I highly recommend to Dr ARSLAN and the team at Hairmedico to get your hair transplant done.
