2 Weeks Post-Op
All of my scabs have fallen off at this point on both my donor and recepient area. Based on my research at this point the follicles should be secured but I am still gentle with both areas when washing my hair. For the first week or so there were some areas on my scalp and around my recepient area that were still numb I assume from the anesthesia and trauma but by the 2nd week it seems I've gotten all the sensation on my head/scalp back. Some parts are still sore if I put a slight pressure on it but that's understandable.
I don't know why but part of me was terrified this wasn't going to work so I'm really excited to see a bit of hair growth now at my 2 week mark. Looking forward to more growth!

Scab on, F-it, Scab off
Post-op care from my clinic recommends removing the scabs on the recepient area by day 8 so that's what I did. I used the brunt side of a butter knife to GENTLY scrape off the scabs. There were some areas where the scabs are darker and gripped onto my scalp so I was told not to force those as they should fall off on their own. Removing the scabs is supposed to allow the follicles to "breathe" by allowing and exposing them to oxygen rather than being trapped under the scabs.
I couldn't tell with the scabs but after removing them I can start to see more of where my new hairline will grow out. It looking promising!

Happy new year everyone!
Wanted to get y'alls opinions. Is it just me or did the areas where I received transplants are receding already? Looking at the side by side photos of the top view and side profile on the day of procedure vs day 3 post-op... it looks like some follicles fell out? Is it possible to have the hair follicles fall off this early? Or was it just swollen from the initial procedure making the implants appear further down my hairline?
I do wish it retained the shape and fullness of how it looked initially right after the procedure but I know it's still early so I'm trying to stay optimistic. Hopefully this is just how it's suppose to be...
