I am writing this review about my experience at DHI global London, with Dr Alex.

I went to this clinic on recommendation from a friend who has had a succesful transplant.

I had researched difference between FUT FUE AND DHI before going ahead with the DHI

Although more expensive, it is however have a higher success rate of root survival by more than 90% if patient adheres to proper aftercare.

I will show before images of my hair line, during surgery, immediately after. The healing stages and of course over the next few months and years.

I have always had this hair line, my sister also has it too. It’s not that I have lost hair, just lacking in these areas. So when I have my hair in a pony tail - this area looks sparse. What I would do is cover up with makeup to make me feel better.

The reason I want a hair transplant is to achieve a more attractive feminine hair line as this is quite male like. A female hair line is more rounded.

I am happy with the height of my forehead as I feel it is balance with the rest of my face including mid fade and jawline/chin.

Before my arrival at the clinic I was able to speak to the Doctor Alexandros Kostopoulos on consultation which he seemed a lovely man. And also with one of the girls who works there daily on WhatsApp.

Mia she is called. She is nice, put me at ease with any worries I had. She is funny, attentive and just what you need before a big procedure. Greatly appreciated her presence in all this.

The one query I had was how much hair would be shaven from the donor area, as being female and long hair I did worry about this.

She told me (after asking the doctor) that the area is 13cm wide by 4-5cm high

I measured this against the back of my hair and thought this is fine.

Once it gets to an inch in length I can put tape extensions in that area whilst my donor patch grows back.

I have added images of my hair a day before surgery. You see in these images that the baby hair seems quite full. Though still sparse and obviously baby hair so is weak and never grows long.
