Better Than I Could Have Expected
WORTH IT
On 29.06.2026 I had a hair transplant at the HairMedico clinic. The consultation, hairline design, graft extraction, and channel opening were all performed personally by Dr. Arslan; the implantation was done by the specialists on his team.
A little background about myself: I'm 42, with hair loss around Norwood stage 7. I started balding at almost 20, and for the last 12 years I preferred to shave my head completely. After such a long period of hair loss without any kind of support, the donor zone is very poor. Several clinics turned me down — they don't take complex cases like mine. As I now understand, they simply don't have specialists of the caliber who can actually do something and feel confident about it. There were approvals too — from clinics that operate like a conveyor belt, the kind that don't care what the result looks like: when you see 5–10 patients a day, one negative review won't affect your rating in any way.
Three days before my flight, I came across Dr. Arslan and the HairMedico clinic. After just the first day of researching the clinic and the doctor, I knew: if I was going to do a transplant, it would be only with them. I wrote to the clinic and got a very fast reply. I explained that my tickets to Turkey were already booked and that I had only 6 days in which I could have the operation. The doctor looked at my photos, explained what he considered the right approach in my situation, and found time in his schedule to see me. I gave up a deposit at another clinic, confirmed my decision — and now I'm certain that for me this was a miracle.
The clinic takes only one patient a day, which is why the attention given to each person is so careful, gentle, and respectful — from the WhatsApp consultation all the way through the organization of the entire process: the pickup, hotel check-in, the hotel–clinic–hotel transfers, and then the trip to the airport. The staff are very pleasant and upbeat, and Dr. Arslan immediately wins you over with his confidence, attentiveness, and professionalism.
I was very afraid of the transplant, having seen plenty of photos and videos of people after such operations: swollen faces, heads covered in bruises and contusions — it was frightening. As it turned out, everything depends on who performs the operation: on the doctor's experience and his desire to make sure the result pleases both himself and the patient.
Dr. Arslan is not only a doctor with vast experience and a wealth of knowledge, but also an artist with a very light touch and a bright, positive energy.
I had no swelling, no severe pain, almost no bleeding, and not even any seepage — neither the day after the operation nor later.
In my photos I am before the operation, immediately after the operation, the day after the operation and the fifth day after the operation.
