The beginning

It is growing! So tired of wearing hats, headbands, and scarves. I have yet to put product on the recipient area - (doc orders not to put product for 1 year). A bit worried that the baldy spot up top won't fill in. Has anyone else experienced this?
Of course now that I have been looking at my hairline everyday, I am noticing other thinning areas that I MAY want to get done; but, I am going to finish waiting this out and see how I feel when it all grows in. Maybe I will use Topik or something for the other parts. I got my hairline fixed and that was what I really wanted...thinning edges is something I think I can work with without getting another surgery.

Finally. Pain/tenderness is almost gone. I do not get headaches anymore. Totally didn't know I could have washed my scabs on day 7 or 8. I washed my whole head on day 12 (the day I got my sutures removed). I probably would have done it the same if I could go back in time anyway. It felt AMAZING to finally wash my hair and put conditioner in it omg. I washed with Cantu brand shampoo and then got kind of scared that it would dry me out so after the first wash I used baby shampoo - I haven't noticed any drying though. :) I did not have any hair shedding so hopefully it will only continue to grow from here!

Day 11 and I have yet to notice any peeling or shedding. My sutures are still in. They come out tomorrow (day 12). My scar is still off and on achey. I feel like I have been more prone to headaches from eye strain or something. Day 10 was the first day I've gone without Tylenol. I did take Arnica in the evening though.
