Very personable, professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Prasad definitely inspires confidence that you're in great hands and that he has the experience and expertise to provide a great outcome. He is very reassuring and takes his time to provide the consultation and answer your questions. I felt desperate to address my growing hair loss and everything that I found online seemed temporary, not especially effective, required many visits and/or had undesirable side effects. I had been researching solutions for years and was so thankful to come across Dr. Prasad's pioneering methodology that yielded a long-lasting beautiful thickened hairline that had no side effects. Camb123 I had major hair loss about 7 years ago. I tried everything short of prp. Lasers, etc... I found the best combo viviscal and nutrafol plus nightly foam Rogaine. I've been on this regimen 2 years now and my hair is long and has thickened so beautifully I swear give it a year with this. But put the rogain in multiple parts of your scalp. The bottle will not last 3 month but who cares it's worth it. Good luck

He draws blood, spins it in a centrifuge and extracts the PRP (platelet rich plasma) that are your own adult stem cells to regenerate new cells and tissues. I just started using Nutrafol 2 1/2 months ago. I have rogaine but have been very hesitant to use it. I read so many things about the side effects for women... Like hair growth in face. Ugh. I've never heard of viciscal so I will have to google it. Did you have any side effects from rogaine(I am assuming your female)

I had also used rogaine for years before doing this procedure (I noticed significantly thinning hair 12 years ago) and while it slowed the hair loss down at first it eventually continued to progress. It's not a long term solution though it does help a little. I didn't have any bad side effects, but I've also read that they are possible for women especially. If the cause of your hair loss is genetic rogaine and supplements are not going to stop its progression, though they may help your hair be healthier and a little thicker. This treatment actually reversed the progression. I don't know that it will last forever, but it should last 7 years and to me that's worth the money even though it's expensive. It works out to $500/year which is less than botox.

Thanks! It's been 2 years since the initial treatment, so I don't remember exactly, but probably about 4 months, and then it's pretty much stayed that way. I also noticed an almost immediate reduction in shedding (much less hair coming out in the shower).

a lot of doctors do Acell ... I can't see the point ... why should that stop genetic hairloss ... ?

These are a few photos that were just taken so you can see the difference. The left side is two years ago and the right side is last week. The front of my hairline is what bothered me the most and you can definitely see the improvement, especially on the left side temple area.

Another important advantage to this treatment vs. lasers, PRP alone, etc. is it is one single treatment with a booster 1.5 years later. Whereas other modalities require multiple treatments which are painful and add up in cost and will not be as effective. Wow, I'm surprised. Have you been in contact with Dr Prasad about your lack of results? If you did it with a different doctor it's not the same procedure.

Had the same done about 2 years ago and 3500 bucks later absolutely nothing. Complete waste of money. Other clinics charge 1/6 the price for same thing.
