After being considered morbidly obese for three years, I made the decision to have the vertical sleeve gatrectomy procedure done. I had seen Dr. Amit Trivedi on The View and decided he would be my surgeon. I live in Bucks County, PA so NJ isn't much of a hike. Starting weight: 235 Current weight: 138

Hey there! Welcome, and thanks so much for sharing your experience with us. I hope you'll get lots of support from the community. Congratulations! What an awesome weight loss! What's the biggest advantage to you after losing this amount of weight?

Thank you! Biggest advantage is being able to walk without running out of breath
What a difference one year can make. I had the sleeve surgery 6 months ago. I am so glad I had it. You look fantastic!

Thanks! Yes, it must feel wonderful. Do you work out at all?

To be honest, I only work out once or twice a week. One of the drawbacks of having 75% of your stomach removed is not being able to eat enough throughout the day. My energy level isn't always what it should be.

That's a lot more activity than a lot of people can handle! You should feel really proud of yourself. Losing weight is a really hard thing to do. I know, because I'm battling myself :) Your story inspires me! Thanks for sharing.
