So I chipped my tooth last month and panicked! I...
So I chipped my tooth last month and panicked! I knew I had to get it fixed but since I had no insurance I felt no need to go to my old dentist who was just horrible, so I made an appointment with a dentist near my job. Best Decision I have ever made!!!
So the first appointment was pretty simple, I got a free consultation and x-rays for $99. Which was a pretty cool experience since I got to see my x-rays instantly on the TV in front of me. We went over what was wrong (my teeth are a horror story), and what I wanted to get fixed first. Of course the first thing I wanted fixed was my chipped tooth. I mentioned I really wanted to get rid of my gap as well so I was interested in the veneers, and so I had to make another appointment to go over the pricing and stuff.
At my next appointment I met Ebony, she was so pleasant and had a nice big smile which honestly made me more eager to get my tooth fixed haha, she went over the pricing and the options I had which were all great and easy to understand. I opted for cash since I have a tendency of not liking anything involving me owing money. After that I was all set for my appointment and went home with some scans of my teeth x-rays and pricing of everything I would need done. (I have cavities and ALSO need a root canal on a wisdom tooth).
The day of my appointment was nerve wrecking, I tried to stay calm and not panic since I new I had to get the numbing needle. When I got it I had Ebony hold me hand which helped a lot. (Yes, I am a big baby). After I was numb the drilling and stuff began, I honestly have to give Dr. Mamah HUGE credit because she was not only patient with me but she also let me know what was going on every step of the way. I have never felt so at ease at a dentists office. When she was all done putting in my temps everything looked more than perfect. They matched my teeth color 110% and the shape of them was just enough to make me cry, which I did. She is an artist for sure because I am the pickiest person alive so when I tell you they looked amazing, I am not kidding.
I had to have my temps in for 2 weeks, which got easier as the days passed. I seen a ton of online reviews about the temps feeling invasive and uncomfortable but to be honest the invasiveness only lasted about a day or two, after that the only thing that was out of the ordinary to me was the amount of time I spent smiling haha. I have never smiled so much in my LIFE!
After the two weeks I went back to get my finished veneers. I wined soo much because my temps were so perfect and I was already so use to them that I couldn't imagine teeth looking any better, but of course, I was wrong. These veneers feel like smooth glass in my mouth, it's heaven!! And they look so real. The friends and family who knew I got the veneers couldn't believe they weren't mine. The texture, the color, everything was perfect!
All in all I would give this dentistry a 10/10 experience. The team here are the most pleasant bunch of ladies you'd ever want to meet, and you will always feel welcome.

Dr. Mamah is just an amazing beautiful person inside and out. I never want to go to any other dentist, and I will recommend her to everyone I meet. She does amazing work and I have not seen an unhappy face in the office yet. She knows what she is doing and it shows in her work for sure.
