Third update

9 months after my original treatment and I'm totally sweat free. Sweat free!! My wardrobe is awesome! I can not wait for summer to wear pretty dresses and NOT BLACK in the hot summer sun all the time!

After the second procedure my armpits were swollen for weeks. And numb. They stayed numb for weeks too. It was very very weird. I called the office and they said it was normal. I also hardly have any hair there now and the hair that is there is super fine. It's an added bonus cause now I hardly have to shave either!

Go get it done!!! You will be so happy you did!!

Second procedure done!

After the first treatment my sweating was reduced 70-80%. I notice my sweating increased if I had too much coffee or got anxious. It also seemed like it was coming back slightly. But from everything I've read, I think it's normal and why a second treatment is necessary.

My second procedure was yesterday and so much easier than the first. Less shots and I felt like it went quicker, probably because I knew what to expect. But the first procedure was done with the machine on level 2. This time it was level 4. Holy swollen!! The estatition that did the procedure told me I'd be very swollen. The bruising isn't bad at all, very minimal. But I am so swollen! Almost to my elbows. I can hardly put my arms at my sides. It's very very uncomfortable. I'm taking 800mg of Advil every 3 hours and I have ice packs and water bottles under my arms constantly. The swelling is so much worse the second time around. I'm hoping it goes away quickly like it did the first time.

I'm totally happy with the whole process and would recommend it to everyone! My wardrobe is so colorful now and I just feel so much more confident. I don't feel anxious about being weird and sweaty.

I was on this site the night before my procedure...

I was on this site the night before my procedure freaking myself out. Turns out there was NOTHING to be worried about. The 30-40 shots in my armpits was not pleasent but nothing that terrible. You're totally numb for the whole thing. I even had a medical student do the procedure and I didn't feel one single thing. I walked out an hour and half later with ice packs under each arm loaded on ephedrine and Advil. I took 3/4 Advil every 3 hours and it kept the swelling to a minimum. I stayed with ice packs under my arms all day and feel asleep with them that night. I took 2 Advil every 4 hrs the next day. The bruising was gnarly and swelling is very weird feeling; your armpits are a concave area so any swelling is very awkward feeling. I walked around with my hands on my hips so my armpits wouldnt touch, my husband said I looked like an indignant chicken! By day three the swelling was minimal and the bruising looked a lot better. A week later and there is NO swelling and NO bruising. I've been using baby powder and spray deodorant cause my armpits are kinda sore but I think it's mostly in my head. Although realistically they're full of dead sweat glands so they're likely to be sore/achy. Literally a week later and sweat is not even a concern!!!!!! It's freakin amazing!!! Everyone at work has noticed the immediate addition to color in my wardrobe since I would only wear black before. I'm talking I wear gray! White! Neon colors!! I'm so happy I spent the money!! My only single regret is not doing this sooner!! Go get it done!!!
