I had a tummy tuck (search for: My Tummy Tuck Story, Ramsey, NJ) a few years ago and felt that I needed a breast lift. I was tired of spending money on bras, swimwear etc. Victoria secret bras did not fit, I would flow out of a DDD. I never realized how droopy they were until I saw pictures of myself in a bathingsuit. I went to a few consultations. The first doctor I went to told me that I was a good candidate and that all I needed was the scar around the nipple. When I asked about the 'anchor', the doctor said, if that was what I wanted he could do it. Then I went to Dr. Capella in Ramsey, NJ. He did my tummy tuck and I was very happy with his work. I had my breast lift on 8/10 and now am going through the healing process.

After surgery (Monday Aug. 10th) the nurse told me I was a "rag doll". My blook pressure dropped. They were so nice at Hackensack Hospital. The nurse toasted me a bagel with cream cheese and a soda. In an hour I felt better. She helped me get dressed and I wheeled me to the car. I only took 1 Percocet and 2 Tylenols with codeine, the first 2 days. Afterwards I took extra strength Tylenol for another 2 days and have med free ever since. This Monday I went for my 1 week post-op visit. I was told everything looks good. I am expected to heal nicely (the way I did for my TT). I was told I do not have to wear the surgical bra but not to spend lots of money on bras yet. The doctor said that he was going to take out some tissue to make me a little bit smaller (but propionate to my body), but after he took off the extra skin, there really wasn't a need. So everything is tight. My only discomfort is a little soreness and itchiness (especially at night). I ordered some super soft bralettes, and that is what I have been using. At night I don't wear anything. The staff at Dr. Capella's did their job informing me on what healing would be like, because I was basing it of my tummy tuck. It is truly night and day. Aside from the puckering of the scars (now I know why there are called Fraken Boobs on RS), everything is great. I can drive as well, but the seatbelt feels odd. Will post pics soon. :)

Loved Cappella. Hackensack was amazing as well, but I Presumed it was because I was self pay. Can't wait to see your results. I am still thrilled with mine six years later!

We had our surgeries on the same day. Monday Aug 10th in VA Beach and we stayed to vacation a bit. I went back to work the same week on Thursday. This surgery was a breeze compared to my tummy tuck last year. Happy healing!

Glad to hear you are doing well!! Can't wait to see your results. Dr. C did my LBL and I hope to see him again to have my boobs lifted and implanted in the future (having some odd mammograms, so unfortunately, I am stuck waiting.)
