Highly Skilled Surgeon and Great Staff

Dr. Truong and his team, especially Anabel, have been great. Dr. Truong did excellent work on my gynecomastia surgery. I only had the chest done, but my entire body looks leaner and more proportionate because of now having a flat masculine chest. I also have a medical issue which prohibits me from using anything vasoconstrictive (e.g. epinephrine), which is almost always used in surgery to control bleeding. I honestly think some doctors may not have moved forward due to this, but Dr. Truong and his team handled it no problem.

Anabel is wonderful and couldn’t have been more helpful, communicative, and reassuring throughout the entire process. She’s a very important person in your surgical process - so much so that I don’t know if I would have ended up proceeding with X-Sculpt if she had not been involved in the initial consultations.

Dr. Truong’s bedside manner is not the best you’ll encounter, but fortunately you’ll be paying him for his surgical skills, not to have coffee with you. That said, don’t be put off if Dr. Truong seems abrupt or cold. He’s an excellent surgeon and he definitely cares about his patient outcomes, which is what matters. Also, most of the communication is with the office staff, who are very welcoming.

Furthermore, the pricing is very fair. It’s a life changing procedure performed by someone who specializes in it. Another prominent name in Chicago plastic surgery whom I met with was charging $3k more for the procedure, seemingly entirely based on reputation, and the previous patient result examples weren’t as encouraging as X-Sculpt’s.
