I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Yan and his team. His attentiveness and concern for my care after my surgery was unmatched to the previous experiences I had before with other surgeons. After my surgery, he called me shortly after to see how I was doing and made several follow up appointments with me after to ensure I was healing properly. He also provided me his direct line in case I needed something after my surgery. I originally had a gynecomastia surgery back in 2016 that I was not done in a manner that was suitable. Dr. Yan and his team advocated for my care with my insurance for several months and continued to support me even when I had to work with my insurance directly to appeal the process. He did not give up on me and send me somewhere else when the insurance didn’t initial approve it and was willing to work with me on finances even if it was not covered. Prior to the procedure, he was very transparent in what needed to be done and explained to me in a way I could understand. He answered all my questions before and after surgery so I knew what to expect. He is very knowledgeable and I know if I needed a plastics surgery again, I would go to him.
