I have always hated the bags under my eyes and since I hit my 40's, they have become more prominent. I went to 2 different plastic surgeons and each recommended either Bellafill or Sculptura. I did my research and went with Bellafill and went with a highly reputable injector. I also had PDO threats placed. My target was the bags under my eyes and I was told that by lifting my cheeks a bit, the bags would be less noticeable. I had 3 syringes done the first time with, as you can see, minimal results by 2 months. (I agree my cheeks are lifted but the bags are still prominent). I went back in November and had 3 more syringes placed. The last picture is about 5 months after my first set of syringes and as you can see there is not much difference. Not enough difference to justify what I spent, anyway. My injector was very nice, very professional and did give me my second set of injections at a reduced price, but I am still out $4000 and left with less than satisfactory results.

I want to clarify this review that I did. I did NOT have Bellafill placed under my eyes or in my tear troughs. They were placed appropriately at the malar junction in order to lift my cheeks and reduce the presence of the bags under my eyes. I initially went to a surgeon to talk about surgery and I was told to have injections. I did not feel comfortable with his injector so I picked an injector that was incredibly highly qualified well reputed. What I really needed was surgery. However she did nothing wrong, she was professional and kind and I would trust her with any type of injectables that I do need to have. The fault lies with the surgeon who said that he did not recommend surgery. I have since gone to another plastic surgeon had my lower lids corrected surgically and I am unbelievably pleased with the results. Kati is the best in the business around here. I am finding that some of the questions and responses I’m getting to this with you indicate that people are misreading and mis-interpreting what I had done. Thanks!!!

I am so glad yourfinal outcome was a success. Although you did not have bellafill under the eye, my doctor said it should not be used for volume in the face and only used in the nasolabial folds and it is only aproved by the FDA for use in this area. The only other use for it is for indented scars. I hope there is no post complications down the road. After doing more research on this product I regret having it put in my face at all, even though I have not had any bad reactions so far. Dr. injected a couple of small scars and what was left over placed in the nasolabial folds. Some Dr's, as I have found out, do use it as a filler on the face and swear by it. But since I have done my research, after the fact unfortunately, it is not worth the risk. In my opinion stay away from permanent fillers period.

I do notice an improvement in the overall volume under your eyes. Just one small area is still pro truding.
And experienced. He has so many videos on You Tube that are very educational. He specializes in eyes. Ask him a question. Maybe you can save up $ for a future procedure. Here's his link.

I had bellafill and love my results. But at around 2-3 weeks I started getting big swollen undereye bags every morning. The doctors office just had me press gently (i did it while making a smile) 4-5 seconds at a time a few times a day. The whole thing cleared within a week.
