So I think I found a great doctor- Dr Arenas in Guadalajara in Mexico, him and his assistant have been amazing since I first made contact, taking the time to answer all of my questions. I had the surgery booked for Today for a BBL and breast lift, I even had flights booked then I got too scared and backed out at the last minute. I called the doctor who told me not to go ahead with the surgery if I was having doubts and that he wanted me to be 100% confident before going ahead. He was so kind and understanding but now I feel I made the wrong decision as I have wanted this surgery for years. The reason I decided not to go ahead is that I am so scared of the results not being good and having lumps after lipo, I'm also scared for the pain and recovery period. Would love to speak to anyone else who has had this procedure to help reassure me that I am making the right decision!

Hi @Amarti83 I would love to hear more about your experience! How did you find the pain? What kind of anesthesia did you choose to have? How long did you stay in Guadalajara and did you have any lumps etc after lipo? Thanks for your advice!

What are u planning to get doNE? ??? I had a tummy tuck , lipo on flanks and breast augmentation all together . Pain is really not that bad. U just gotta make sure to take your pain meds every 4 to 6 hours on going the first week and you'll be pain free I promise.

So I have been researching for over 2 years now to have a BBL, I’ve interview many doctors and have always found a reason not to go ahead. I have also debated between having implants but I have read so many reviews of them becoming displaced or looking unnatural so i have decided to stick with having a BBL and full body liposculpture. I found dr Camilo lemos on instagram and I personally think he has some of the best before and after pictures I have seen which are all very natural and athletic looking. He also posts live feeds everyday. I wish he was on realself so I could find more reviews although all the reviews on his Facebook and anywhere else have been positive. I feel I am in good hands and all his assistants have been very kind and helpful, he has also taken the time to personally answer any question I have. My surgery is on Wednesday and to say I am nervous would be an understatement. I will follow up with my pictures on how this journey goes for me and my 2 weeks in Bogotá. So far I have just been here for a day and done a walking tour of the city which was really good, it’s a very cool city with a fascinating history. I won’t meet Camilo until the morning of the surgery as he is flying in from bucamaranga which is where his other clinic is

Day of treatment

Today is the Day!

So I have been been pretty calm up until Today, and now I am very nervous. I’ve never had any surgery and I’ve never been under general anaesthetic- I hope the end result is all worth this! Yesterday I met with the anaesthesiologist who was a really nice older man and I feel I am in good hands at least, I told him I am also very worried about the pain and he said that they will give me plenty of drugs for that when I wake up and I don’t need to leave the hospital until I feel well enough. I also told him that I am prone to get anxiety in situations like this and he prescribed me some hidroxicina which put me straight to sleep last night and hoping it calms my nerves today!
