Life has been crazy and for whatever reason realself hasn't been letting me login. Anyways, it's now been a little more than 2 months post op. Physically, my nose is still a bit swollen but no one can tell. It's not really sore anymore and the numbness I had experienced right after the bandages came off is mostly gone. I am satisfied with my results- they look really natural. So natural that most people can't even tell I did something and I myself forget I had anything done. So I'm happy. Sometimes I wish the doctor had gone farther but I think the work he did fits my face perfectly.

Bandages off 3 weeks post op

So I got my plaster off 1 week post op. For 1 week following that I had to wear a thin medical tape over my nose, which I removed myself at home. (I returned to the us 1 week post op). So far so good. I'm thrilled with the results- very subtle and natural and my nose still looks like my nose, just an updated version. I'm still pretty swollen, which makes the tip of my nose look slightly upturned but the doctor assured me that that's normal and it will be at straight once all the swelling is gone. I'm still tender in spots but I have resumed normal activities and my breathing is normal again.

Day 6 post op update

I'm feeling a lot better today. The majority of the dripping (gross sorry) from my nose is gone and I can go out with just the bandage on. Swelling and congestion are way way down and I can almost breathe through my nose now. It is still pretty tender to the touch though. Bandage comes off in 2 days and I'm excited to see the result.

Hi. I am a Pakistani. I want to go to Iran for rhinoplasty. I also want to go to Canada for higher studies. I am afraid that rhinoplasty in Iran may affect my visa application for a study permit in Canada. For one thing, I may end up looking different from my photos on my various documents, such as passport and national identity card. For another, the Canadian authorities may be suspicious of me because I went to Iran. I do want the rhinoplasty before I go to Canada because my nose has always been a big, big drain on my self-confidence. I don't know what to do. Can anyone here help me make my decision? Thank you.
