Groin Incision Thigh Lift

I lost approximately 75 pounds over the course of about 5 years. I believe that the fact that the weight loss was slow helped me to not have a ton of loose skin. Unfortunately, two areas that always bothered me after weight loss were my breast and my thighs. Approximately 4 years ago I had a breast lift with implants and couldn't be happier with the results. At the same time, I had liposuction of the flanks and inner thighs. This made the appearance of my loose skin much worse.
About 2 years ago I started consulting with surgeons to see what the options were to address the skin on my thighs. Some suggested a full thigh lift with vertical incisions, but in my opinion my case wasn't extreme enough to justify such a large scar. Another doctor refused to do a thigh lift because my case "wasn't extreme enough".
Finally, I found the surgeon who ultimately did my surgery. He assured me that the results I wanted could be obtained by making a small incision in the groin and doing minimal lipo of the inner/outer thighs and hips.
My goal is to feel comfortable in shorts and a bathing suit and to feel like my thighs match the rest of my body after weight loss.

I'm interested to see results. I too am in the same situation after losing 40lbs in 5 years and my inner thighs need a lift. I used to love wearing shorts but now I'm very self conscious about it because of my loose skin. I've just started my research journey in breast lift, tummy tuck and lips as well because of loose skin. Good luck and I'm excited to see your results.

Surgery lasted a little over 2 hours and went exactly as planned. I woke up in a good bit of pain and was given a Percocet to help. I was released to head home about an hour later. The rest of the day wasn’t unbearable. The backs of the thighs were the most painful, but using ice seemed to help. At the advice of my doctor, I got up every 30ish minutes and went for short walks around the house. I was pretty diligent about staying consistent on pain medication for the first 24 hours. My legs were wrapped in ace bandages and my incision was covered with gauze. Both of which I could remove after 12-24 hours.
