Groin incision thigh lift

3ish Years Post-Op

Wanted to add a couple of photos of long term results.

A few post surgery issues…
There’s a slight bulge between my legs. When I wear leggings it looks very awkward (like a giant cameltoe ??????).
There’s still a small banana roll on my left butt/thigh.
When I walk, my thighs still giggle a lot but I’m pretty sure I can correct this by adding some muscle tone.
The top/inside of my thighs look as if they’re being stretched. It’s made the stretch marks between my legs appear more visible in a bathing suit.

With all that said, I would 100% still do the surgery and an overall, very happy with my results. I feel much for confident when wearing shorts or a bathing suit.

You look amazing!!
Thank you for the thorough review!!!
Thank you so much for your detailed journey! You are a lifesaver as I really wanted a thigh lift but not to the point of needing the vertical scar. I had no idea this version was an option. I will be talking to my surgeon about this.
Thanks for this follow up. I just had a crescent thigh lift and am concerned by the pleating in the incision in the buttocks area. Did you have that issue? Did it eventually flatten out?

7 weeks post op

Updating to add photos of progress at 7 weeks.
Recovery has been smooth. I still have minimal swelling in my feet but it does continue to go down. There is still minimal pain on my hips at the lipo sites and at the incision sites.
I included photos in a bathing suit bottom to show how well the incisions are hidden.

Can I ask what surgeon you went to? Your results look amazing!
Thank you! I've updated my provider information. I saw Dr. Guy Capuccino. I would highly recommend him and his entire team.
I would love to know the surgeon too. He did a really beautiful job.
Thank you. I've updated my provider information. Dr.Guy Cappuccino was my doctor.
Great results! May I ask if over time the scar migrated downward or is it still in the same position? Thank you
Late to respond, but I’m about 18 months post-op and I have noticed a bit of migration between my legs. Initially the scar was at the crease of my leg/vagina between my legs and now it sits slightly lower. Definitely not a major difference or enough to be of concern for me at this point.
I was told that the labia spreads open when you open your legs after this surgery is this accurate. I've been debating about getting one but I'm worried.
Difficult to answer, but the shape of my vagina did change. Not necessarily bad, just different. My labia isn’t spread open, but it is pulled a bit by the incision. Hopefully that makes sense.
Would it be possible to show a few more pictures since it’s been a while and the scar has settled and is ina slightly lower position as you mention. I am contemplating this very surgery but the problems with the scar such as migrating down the leg prevents me from committing. Cay you wear a bikini or do you need boy shorts to cover the scar? I would appreciate your help.

Scar update

Updating to add current photo of incision at 20 days post op.
Having a good bit of discomfort at the incisions in my groin area, as the opening of the compression garment rubs on them. If the discomfort continues, I’ll switch to compression bike shorts.
Swelling in my feet and ankles is fairly significant in last few days but overall, besides the incision discomfort, the pain has definitely started to subside.

I am scheduled in Augusta for a thigh lift and extremely nervous. Was your surgery worth it and did you have any post op problems, as I have read things about wounds opening up, genitalia being different, etc. how far does the scar go from one end to the other.
Sorry for the delay in responding. I just updated with current photos. Yes, I would say the procedure was 100% worth it. I had no problems with wounds opening, but I also limited mobility as much as possible in the very early days and I think that helped a lot. No stairs, no sitting down to use the bathroom (I used a she-wee from Amazon), etc.. The scar goes from the front, which is visible in my photos down through the crease of my vagina/thigh and stops where my butt starts. It's exactly at the point that when I'm standing, you can't notice anything from behind. Did it change the way my vagina looks? Yes, but I can't really describe how. It's different, but that's it, there is no gapping or pulling like others mentioned. However I was not mentally prepared for the incisions between my legs, they've taken some time to adjust to mentally.
Hi! How are you feeling now? Have you noticed a significant difference in your thighs? Hope your recovery is going well, very interested to see the results a few months out!
Hi! Thank you! I just updated with current pictures. I can definitely notice a significant difference.
Can you please tell me if the incision goes around your butt cheek? Your pictures show the groin incision but I am wondering if it extends underneath the butt cheek. Thank You.
FANTASTIC!!!
I bet I would be swollen like a boa after swallowing a cow. I’m very prone to swelling post surgery. After my lipo I was terribly swollen.
