Botox nightmare recovery

Its been nearly 1 year now and recently it has improved to almost acceptable however I have a slight crease under my right eye. Which I believe is improving with time. I did receive Restylane which temporarily made it look better but it looked weird at some angles but gave me slight confidence to go out and look at people face to face.
During that time my face has improved to about 90% from what I remember before I had this bad experience with botox.
My puffy eyes are gone and hollowness is almost gone over the last month. I do have some restyling under my eyes so I am not sure if I will get worse or improve once this wears off completely. I occasionally apply Bio oil to improve the skin and to disguise the crease under the right eye. I'm not sure if this is doing good or nothing at all. I also have some aloe Vera cream that I'm applying in the evening to help.
For those who have had this issue please be patient and don't expect miracles straight away. You need to give it 9 months at least before the muscle under the eyes come to life. And try not to put to many creams as this may cause more skin issues. Keep the skin hydrated and wait it out.

Given up on waiting

Just to give you a heads up on my eyes. Its been 7 months since post botox that left me puffy eyes and creepy with folds on my bottom eye lids. These last few weeks has been the worse and I am to get married in three weeks time. I will put some pictures of the worse photo of my eyes that finally told me to do something about it. So I decided to see an Oculoplastic surgeon with tones of experience to try and get some under eye filler called Restylane plus botox for my forehead and crows feet. I did some research and came up with Jane Olver who is trained as an Eye Surgeon. She works both as a general ophthalmologist and a specialist in oculoplastic, eyelid, lacrimal and cosmetic surgery. Jane runs the Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery side of Clinica London as well as seeing many patients with eye, eyelid and tear duct problems. I saw Jane a few days ago for a consultation I spoke about my issue and how it made my eyes like they are. She said that it was possibly a bad botox used which may not be very good quality which lead to the allergic reaction also I am still inclined to say that it was administrated in the correct place or too much for the product to seap to the eye area. Anyway she treated me with dysport for the botox for my forehead and crowsfeet plus 1 vial of restylane for my undereye. The change for the under eye improved like 80% straightaway it reduced the folds. My botox is working in and I'm pleased with that too. However she did say that I will need to return to treat the tear troughs as the 1vial was not enough so I will update you guys next week with some photos. Jane was very professional and so far done a great job with my eyes but she is very pricey. The treatment so far from Jane was £150 for the consultation, the botox was £315 + £450 for 1 vial of restylane total £915. I will return for another Vial of restylane which will cost me £450. I hope the nest treatment will make it worth the money I paid. I wanted to say thank you for the good reviews regarding restylane treatment I'm so glad I went along with it and thank you Jane Olver.

Update - 7 weeks after botox

Hi Guys thanks for your comments.

Here is an article that I want to share as the probable cause of puffy eyes from botox

1) Lymphedema: This is a more likely possibility. When your muscles move, they pump fluid out of the area. For example when you stand still fluid can "pool" in your ankles and you need to walk to get the muscle pump working to move the fluid out of your legs. This sometimes happens around they eyes.

When you lay down at night, your head tends to have more fluid in it. This can be seen by the distention of your neck veins (called Jugulovenous distention). Generally, your eyes are more swollen in the mornings due to this. During the day, gravity and your muscles (eyes blinking) tend to pump that fluid out of there. With Botox use in patients with a lot of lower eyelid and crow's feet wrinkles, the weakened action of the muscle can contribute to diminshed pump action of the muscles.

2) Diminshed muscle tone (paresis): This is the most likely cause and is a double edged sword. The weakness of the muscles diminishes the wrinkles but it also weakens the ability of your eye muscle resting tone to hold back the fat within your bony orbit. I know that sounds complex but let me simplify with an analogy.

It is not uncommon for individuals to have a resting abdominal muscle tone that "sucks in their stomach". If I were to sufficiently weaken your abdominal muscles then your abdomen would bulge out due to the organs contained within. The same goes for the eyes: sufficently weakened eye muscles cannot contain the fat around the globe and it tends to bulge out the lower eyelid.

I apologize if that is oversimplified. I hope this helps to explain.

The good news that this should only last for 3-4 months when the Botox wears off.

Thanks for reading

According to her she has 150 clients and been doing this for a few years. Unfortunately she was on holiday and I was on holiday so there was no after care.
