I have always wanted a little definition on the bottom portion of my face, especially when I smile. I had my consultation with Dr Hamilton in February and scheduled my surgery the day after! I felt so confident in his assessment and work, that I didn't need to consult with other doctors. Along with my chin implant, I also had a rhinoplasty to shave down a small bump I had on my nose. So far I'm in a little bit of pain, but I'm excited for the final result!! Patience is key!!

Surprisingly, the pain was a little more intense than I thought. I've still only he to take 7 of my pain pills though... And some of that was from nose pain. The main part that is bugging me now is the swelling... My lower cheeks are so big right now and I can't smile:( Dr Hamilton said it takes time, so I am trying hard to be patient. I have a little more swelling on one side than the other, but i am not too worried about that.

Thank you! It's hard sometimes to be optimistic when you are puffy and have a large ugly cast on your nose!:) I'm just excited I get to take it off Thursday!

How is your swelling in your jowles now? I had my chin done on the 21 and feel pretty jowely still (which iwas before and why I wanted the chin implant) What size/ model did you get? Looks great :)

My jowls are still a little swollen (especially the right side) the worst part for me right now is the difference in swelling between m left & right. I've seen a huge improvement though and can completely feel my left side of my chin... Patiently waiting on my right

I'm finally able to move around more without being so sore afterward. I'm calling my PS in the morning because I still feel like I have more pain than I should:( It's probably just a mixture of the nose and chin heeling. I have some large jowls still from being swollen, but I have noticed them getting smaller... Very slowly though. I am working from home this week, so that's a plus! Here is an update from the front.
