So I have very pale skin and VEEY dark hair....

So I have very pale skin and VEEY dark hair. Supposedly this is the perfect combination if you want laser hair removal to be successful. Well it wasn't. I finished up my last treatment in October of 2015. For the most part everything was going great. It was absolutely not painless. It completely hurt like hell! But I did start seeing hair reduction pretty quickly. About 4-5 treatments in I started noticing that while the thick dark hairs had left I was geting blonde, baby fine hairs in their place so I notified the tech during my next visit. I was told not to worry bc I wasn't close to being finished yet....so I mistaking trusted her. (Well them* bc I complained to four different girls about it) Shortly after I started to notice that if I made it past the desired 6 week period of treatments the hair started growing rapidly! Like instead on one gross thick, brown hair it was 2-3 baby fine hairs per follicle! My legs started looking fuzzy! Not only that but it would cause my underarms to smell terrible. I cannot even tell you how little deodorant helps anymore. Not only does the hair start growing less than 2 weeks after shaving, but for whatever God awful reason my underarms always smell terrible. I wear deodorant and I never had this issue before. It's not even a normal sweaty smell. It just smells weird and gross. I sweat so much. Ingrown hairs are EVERYWHERE. It took from October to APRIL before I could even wear pants that allowed skin above the ankles to show. Red numbs all over my legs and bikini area. I am STILL constantly picking at ingrown hairs and it hurts. I have sore spots all over and the hairs will be half a centimeter in size, sometimes longer. It makes the affected areas so sensitive. I was reassured many times that this was normal and by the end I would have at least 90% hair reduction. Not a 50% increase. What pisses me off the most is that on my very last visit somebody finally said that some people end up with the baby fine hairs and at that point treatment stops working and there is nothing they can do for it! Yet they lied and let me carry out 6 more f**king months of treatment and pain and tell me on the last freaking day that I'm basically screwed for the rest of my life! Angry does not even begin to describe how I feel about it. Not to mention this particular location never had availability! God forbid you had to cancel a visit you would never get reschedule within a reasonable time. And once charged me $50 bc I couldn't drive an hr in a freaking snow storm. Trees and lights were down everywhere. The roads were covered in ice.

Also I had at minimum 5 different people do my bikini area. Like seriously, 1 random stranger was plenty.

Just wax your body and it will get back to normal

Halawa hair removal might be better though

Omg. Sorry guys. Lol, I should have proofread my post before sharing it. Lol, I typed it on my phone and my phone was obviously not able to keep up with my ranting. Plus I probably posted this around 4 am. Smh.

To be honest, I'm just afraid of what's going to happen when my hair does start growing like normal. I'm already getting multiple fine pairs per follicle and I'm already covered in ingrown hairs...I don't want to even imagine those same hairs growing back any thicker or darker....and more frequently. My hair production seems to have doubled, they're just less apparent right now and it starts slow. I will say that there does seem to be a few "bald spots" spread out over my legs, but not large enough areas to have made this process worth it. Like literally an area as large as 1-2 cm in size, but even those are only on my legs. No such semi-luck on the bikini & underarms.

Legs

So I decided to add some pictures of my legs. All the dark brown spots are ingrown hairs, all the red ones are the ones I just picked out. I do this starting about a week or so after every shave.

Keep in mind that this is a major improvement from what I was experiencing when hair first started growing back in November. No matter what I do the ingrown hairs don't stop and I never had an issue with them before.
