I have always been petite, and happy with my overall appearance except my small breasts. It has been a life of padded bras, swimsuits and never feeling comfortable in anything strapless or dare to go braless.
Even during pregnancy 2 times, the size increase was nothing significant. I guess that is a plus since now I have small breasts that don't sag. At 52 years I have decided to do something for me and I will probably be a grandma with nice breasts. I have met with two PS and both recommended I go with 350cc to give me projection. I have decided with a PS close to where I live for convenience and he seems very concerned about keeping a natural look but knowing what my frame can handle. My only concern at this point is which profile to go with HP or a moderate silicone. My pre-op is scheduled for February 18th and at that point we will make the final decision. I have read a lot of posts here and it is truly been helpful to know what to expect. One of my biggest fears is being able to sleep on my back, never been able to do that! Will give an update after my pre-op.

I'm glad you commented to me. My mom is 54 and wants them done but is hesitant due to her age. I'll have to let her know she's not alone :)

One Week away from Pre-Op Appointment
I am so excited I forgot to mention my stats. I am 5'3" and range from 113-115 lbs, have a problem gaining weight but guess I will be adding a few pounds soon after my BA is complete. It is one week away from my pre-op and the final decision to place my order for the implants and drain my wallet. I am set on silicone under the muscle but still on the fence with HP, which was suggested by my PS. Any comments would be appreciated. For now I will get in as much gym time as possible, and start my to do's.

I would recommend the high profile. From what Ive been told they sit a bit further out from the chest wall, and give a more "rounder and fuller look". Good luck with your surgery!!!! :)

Pre Op Tomorrow All the Do's and Don'ts
Well the day has come to meet with my PS for the final size decision and go over all the
important things. I was lucky to have a telephone appointment with the surgery
center and found out that I will have an EKG the day of. I guess they want to make sure my ticker can handle it at this age! So my plan for the weekend is to primp, mani-pedi, waxing, color hair and maybe a botox touch up while there. Will give the final decision update tomorrow on size.

Love your review title! Nothing wrong with being a grandma with nice looking breasts. Feel free to join a forum for members in their 50's with breast implants. Looking forward to hearing how your pre op goes!
