WORTH IT$5,900
I missed the one year mark but wanted to be sure to share some updated pics. I still feel great with no real issues. I do still have limited sensation in my lower stomach (right above the incision). As you can see, there is a bit of a bump on my right side where I have some flab that was not captured by the tummy tuck (he cut me farther back on that side because i had a flap of fat on that side that hung). Despite these imperfections I am still very happy with the results. With a bit of weight loss i am sure that bump will go down (easier said than done... one year later and i still making baby steps in the field of weight loss!). My body has always been and will always be a work in progress but i can honestly say that the decision to have a tummy tuck put me ahead leaps and bounds in my journey ! I am very very happy with the results!

Aw. Thank you hun! Go for it!
Hi, was you price really $5900? And how much did you weigh before surgery? I'm interested in going to your doctor, but I'm afraid I don't meet the BMI.
What kind of fajas did you use?

How do I find your update review
They have to review it and then they will allow it to be posted. The email I got says within one business day so hopefully today. If I cld erase and edit things in here I wld have just copy and pasted it into an update post and deleted the new review, but I cannot find any options to let me do that. :(
They messaged me an told me that they added it to my existing review, so it is up here now. (Oh the struggle!)

6 month update

Wow I cannot believe that it has been six months already and I nearly let this month slip by without doing my update! I have pretty much completely healed, though when I sneeze I still have a burning pain in the side of my abdomen. I assume this may be due to scar tissue, but who knows. Other than that everything really is great. I am still making it a personal goal to drop some weight tho. I wld love to lose 25lbs, but I will take five for now if I can accomplish it... baby steps!
Oh! One thing I will say, is that when I was bloated you cld tell somewhat... more like I knew... everything body else assumed I had reached another month in my "pregnancy"! (FOOD BABY! It is so nice not to be asked if I am pregnant now!)
Now that I have had the TT when I am bloated I have the tiniest pot belly... dare I say its even "cute" but I use that term VERY loosely... generally avoiding breads and other carbs keeps my stomach flat. I have been getting in my crunches to ensure that my stomach stays tight and flat, as Dr.Rizutti assured me that as long as I did that stomach will permanently stay flat. I guess my next update will be at the one year mark! I will see you all in Feb 2018!

You're looking great. I set my tt date with Dr. Ruzzti last week for Nov. I'm so excited.
Thank you! Good for you! Congrats!
Thank you so much for sharing your journey. I have surgery in mid November. May I ask you, How Long were you in pain for and one Long did it take you to walk? Thanks!
"Uncomfortable" pain went away pretty much once I had the drainage tubes removed (within a day or so of having them removed). The main cause of the "uncomfortable" pain was not even in the surgery site, but rather it was in my lower back from being stooped over. I was able to walk the day of the surgery for short distances. Once the tubes were out it was a matter of getting rid of the stiffness and soreness from being doubled over for a week. Once that passed (a day or two after having the tubes removed) I was able to get around much better, and would just pace myself when walking around the house.
How are you doing now? You look great!!
I am doing great. I completely forgot about posting my 1 year update will have to take pics and put it up here
Thank you! :)
I'm scheduled in two weeks with Dr Rizzuti for a TT. I've been reading your profile for tips and info. Thank you for updating and replying. Did the dr suggest you using a faja or compression garment?
yes he did. and i highly recommend you purchasing it ahead of time if possible. when you take off the one they put on after surgery... you may hv quite a bit of difficulty getting it back on.
You are going to LOVE your results. I will hv to check-in on you after the surgery to see how things went for you!
I will start narrowing my choices for compression garments. Thank you so much for the advice!!
