I had my consultation on 9/1, pre-op is scheduled for 9/24 and surgery is scheduled for 10/5. I am a little nervous. I pray all goes well, my results are absolutely perfect, my scar heals and fades and a speedy recovery. In Jesus Name Amen. I am so excited. How long did you stay out of work? Did you wear a garment to hold you in?

I stayed out of work a week. I was fine with my spanx on after that. You'll be amazed how comfortable u will feel in it after a few days. You will be fine. God is looking out for you! I was so nervous the day of. The day bridge I was busy shopping and getting my last bit of energy out cleaning the house and doing laundry. I felt like I wanted to back out. I was hyperventilating. They gave me some calm down meds and I was fine. Don't forget to get ur Rx filled today if u haven't already. Take with u. When u wake up it won't be pleasant but ask the nurse for a shot of Demerol for ur ride home. She asked me and I refused and wish I hadn't. The pain will be gone in a week. Don't worry about the scar. Take before pics so u can remind urself how it looked before. The scar will be worth the results. I've had ma t surgical scars and They fade well after a year. If u tan well like I do it won't be a problem but be sure u get the Mepitac or similar tape and wear for a year. I'm praying for u and will be thinking of u Monday!!

Your scar appears to be high up rather then low closer to the bikini line from looking at the pic. I have my consultation on 9/1.

I was wearing yoga pants out grocery shopping by the 2nd weekend. I do get a little puffy above my pubic bone late in the evening if I stay on my get a lot but not that anyone but me notices.

I'm not sure but I give a lot of credit to my pre and post surgery supplements, plenty of water and a low salt diet. The salt will make u extremely uncomfortable after ur surgery

Yes the drains sucked I was glad to get them out I got one out one week and thn the 2nd one 9 days later
