Ever summer I cried and hated everybody that was involved, the day I had my tummy tu ck was the 3rd best day of my life after my two sons births. I wish I had done years ago

I am so sorry. That is an awful story. I'm glad you survived the emergencies warranting your surgery.

Hello VanityCheck 2014. Can you please give me some pointers about your TT progress. Did you purchase an extra garment to wear and did you do scar therapy etc... I have my surgery in less then 8 days. Did you leave your garment that the ps put on after surgery for 6-8 weeks? How did you do with your swelling? You look great. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I wore the government provided by the surgeon for 3 to 4 weeks then I had purchased a spanks at a department store and war that afterwards.

I did not have a lot of swelling. do not eat salty foods afterwards u will Swell up if you eat salty foods like Chinese I was wearing shorts and regular clothes in 2 weeks I was out shopping and I started back my exercise after a month I didn't have that much swelling compared to others I've heard of on the board i'm using Mepitac tape for my scar it is working very well I know that scars heal after a year or more so I'm not really worried about the score I'm really glad that I had the surgery I am not disappointed in any way

Call said before your surgery get your spanks prior to your surgery date get some cheap maxipads to put in your surgical garment to keep it from the sales person into your skin make sure you have enough food on hand for about a week and the less you have someone there to shop for you you need someone there with with you for the first two or three days after that you should be able to get a room on your old button no hard lifting the heavy lifting or anything too strenuous I'll said get a strip of bath towel with two safety pans or you can use a bathrobe time to put this around your neck and clip your drains on that way you can take a shower with your drains

Thank you so much for the advice. It really helps. I'm getting so excited and I am so ready to be on the flat side. That is awesome you did not have a lot of swelling.

Your Tummy looks great!! I'm so happy for you and appreciate hearing your story!! If your only regret was you wished you done it sooner that sound pretty good for me.

Would you mind posting side view? I'm loving my front view and not so thrilled with my swelling from the side... It doesn't seem like 6 more weeks will be enough for it to go from now to your results!

The TT I am so happy about I had severe surgical scarring that his procedure removed. I feel restored and sexy again. God bless my dr and staff. My downtime was less than I thought and I'm doing well . It's the best $ I've ever spent . I have my confidence back !!!

Well, I don't know ur situation as far as help but you'll def need full time assistance for at least 2 -3 days following surgery. Get a bathrobe belt or cut a strip of towel and get 2 safety pins this will be for your drains so u can shower . I wore a zip up bathing suit cover up as my top. U don't want anything you have to struggle in and out of. If you've never had surgery or a scar don't freak out. They fade dramatically in a year. DONT eat salty foods afte your Surgey !! OMG u will swell up and be very uncomfortable in the garment u will wake up in. Buy a small pack of cheap sanitary pads to stuff in the sides and rip of your compression garment for comfort. I ws up in 3 days in my own I know everyone is different. Stock up on grocery items for at least 1 week so you'll have plenty yogurt bananas and other good for u foods there. Any questions in glad to answer. I just had my follow up thur I love dr Rizutti!!

Thanks again. I have rented a recliner and I have a walker. I plan to go out today and get the other supplies. The sanitary napkins and zip up gowns, food (no sodium) etc... I have been wanting TT and I can't believe I'm actually going to have one on Monday. I will keep you posted. I know you are looking awesome in your clothes. How did the follow up go and how long did you have your drains in?

I had one drain removed after 3 days the other one at 1 week postoperative. You will be so happy u did this. I wish I had posted my before pix. My tummy was a mess with surgery scars. I'm sure you will enjoy ur recliner!!! I was up in 3 days and out shopping at the end of 2 weeks. It's the best thing I ever did for myself.

P.S. I bought my spanx garment at TJ Maxx for about $9. But so wear ur surgical garment until u r cleared by Dr. To switch. I was lucky to find the zip up swimsuit cover but any open in the front blouse should do. The zipper is just easier. I'm so excited For u!!! They will take the best care of u. My husband pampered me so much I almost wish I could go thru it again. Oh and I would have someone give u ur pain meds as prescribed. After the surgery you will be out of it for a day or 2 and u don't want to take too many or not enuff by mistake.

Hello VanityCheck2014, I finally had my surgery on 10/5. I am taking one day at a time. I do have a concern about the flank area. It looks a little lumpy/wrinkly on one side. I went back to see my PS and was told I had a lot of lipo on that particular side and it is deflated and theirs nothing he can do about that. He did say in the Spring he could extend my scar out so it will look less wrinkly in that spot where I had stretch marks. I am hoping and praying that once the swelling is completely gone, maybe it's not as noticeable. It defeats the purpose if I can't wear a bikini because of the lump/wrinkly area . Yesterday was my first day of working out. I am starting out slowly walking on the treadmill for 30 minutes. I plan to go back today.
It sounds like you've been through so much already, I'm glad you're so pleased with your results! Thanks for sharing.
