I feel almost like myself today! I was able to do some much needed housework! I was afraid it would hurt, but I did it all slower than usual and.... I feel fine! Cooked my first meal for my family since surgery. Hoping to keep this momentum!!! Only one thing...... I know eyre smaller, but for some reason tonight they feel like they're still big...... Does swelling fluctuate and you don't realize it or am I finally getting less focused on protecting them and now noticing the size??

Doctor appt went well. He said things looked good and they removed the tape..... Ouch! Kind of made me woozie to look at them afterwards..... Lol I'll be happy when I am not constantly adjusting this bra off of my incisions and my nipples settle down some!! Lol glad they're working but shew!!

Although I kind of feel it's day 5 because my surgery was at 7am, I feel I should count that first day as day 1. Whatever day it is, I feel pretty good. I'm tender and some spots are irritated when touched by anything. I rooks OTC Ibuprophen last night before bed and since I wasn't in pain during the night I didn't take anything else. When I woke up I felt good but knowing gravity would start as soon as I got up and moving, I took 200mg ibuprophen. It's now been 6 hours and I may take another? I'm more tender than anything. I had a been drinking prune juice daily and I had added some miralax into a coup,e of those glasses......it all came together this morning. That's good, I was worried that would become a problem. Overall, healing well I think. I may shower with my hubby's help later today again. Other than that..... Very pleased with what I see so far! It was strange yesterday when my hubby was helping get the gauze off and taking the bra off for the first time....I was less self conscience about my naked body even with the bloated tummy, incision tape, and blood covered gauze than I was before with my longer tatas! That felt good! I swear I think he delayed my getting dressed on purpose! Haha!
