Bellafill in tear trough nightmare

I had 1 syringe of Bellafill placed in each tear trough using a canula. Soon after, a large lump
formed under the left eye that feels like bone. It's often times red. I've had one steroid injection thusfar which hasn't helped. My doctor assures me it looks better which is false. Not only did I waste money,
as there is no difference in the tear trough area, but now I look hideous and am anxious on a daily basis. Will this ever go away?!!!

Hi, I wanted to show my support. I'm so sorry that you have been dealing with this problem! I understand how frustrating it is, hopefully it has gotten better. I too have Bellafill injected and I have problems that come and go. I am curious to know if your problem has gotten any better?

No this will not go away. I. Was I, surgery for 1 1/2 hour to remove this cement from under my eyes back in April. I had granulomas some the size of a grape. I had it saved from what he removed. He slit under my eyes and pulled the skin back to get it all out. I look back to normal now..

Do you have any before and after pictures? Are the incisions under your eyes noticeable?

Hi, did your doctor do a transconjunctival incision or a direct incision that required stitches?

I'm going through the same thing. I have not found anyone in Washington state that has removed the Bellafill from the eye trough without scarring or disfigurement.

Hi again. I would recommend myo
Doctor in as heart beat. Injecting steroids will not work. The granulomas is a tumor. It must be removed. You can't even tell I had anything done and my scars are not there barely. I also had it scraped from my lower lip. You are welcome to call me. Offline. Somehow if you could post and look under my email we can communicate that way

I do not have granulomas which are easier to remove because they have borders. I have swelling (boggy edema) and possible biofilm. I'd like to talk with you but I'm not sure how we can offline? I have called numerous doctors in Washington state but they do not remove bellafill. I also emailed your doctor who is willing to help me if he can. Thank you

There are several approaches for management of under eye Bellafill nodules or granulomas. The first would be to use a combination of triamcinolone and 5FU injected into the nodules. This can be done every 2 weeks or so and should result in a gradual reduction in size of the nodules and the redness. If this does not work, another approach that may be used is a series of microneedle treatments. Surgery would be a last resort if multiple non-surgical treatments are ineffective. Good luck!

Dr dutt did this to me as well. I have a bone like formation under my one eye that’s obvious and makes me so self conscious. I’m sorry to hear that I wasn’t the only person who suffered at the hand of that woman
