So staples were all removed and incision is pretty much closed. Still having to change dressing twice a day and still having to wear my garment. Butt is a bit sore every now and then but it's the edema that I ended up having that is the worse. Worse than the implant surgery. Still can't walk normal or even bend my knees and walking it's so painful . Swelling has gone done but the bruising pain is still very bad. I just want to feel normal again and do my norm. Can't stand or walk for long as to swelling gets worse so I've pretty much been bed ridden for 7 weeks now.

I'm so sorry that you're going through this girl! Is someone helping you out? What did the doctor say in terms of when it will get better?

My follow up appointment is on Wednesday as of the 18th was my 6 weeks post op. Still experiencing edema in my legs so my PS prescribed a type of water pill yesterday to flush out all the fluid retention and swelling in my legs. Praying it works quick as this is so painful. As for my implants they are doing great but still have a an open incision that's taking it's sweet old time closing but getting better day by day. Had a few staples removed a couple of weeks ago but still have 4 remaining to keep the opening from tearing open. Looks more like a 7 to 8 week recovery for. No pain otherwise with my implants or incision just the pain of the edema. I just wanna start sleeping normal again this laying on the stomach is become a bit frustrating and causing my body to feel so sore. Though I can say 1 good thing about it is that my upper body and core has really toned it's self out from getting in and out of bed....lol still on my prescribed pain pills, valium, antibiotics and now the water pills. Well once my follow up on Wednesday comes around I'll let you all know that updates.

Congrats, It looks great, was thinking of getting a bbl but after hearing from multiple people it doesn't last long I'm considering implants as well.. can you post some more pics!!

Yes BBC don't last I had mine done in 2012 and got into fitness and lost a lot of weight some of it stayed but majority of it was a loss. I'll be posting more pics as I had a bit of a bump in the road to my recovery. I'm a bit past 6 weeks post op and not completely healed. Definitely a very tough recovery on some pl and I just so happened to be one of those ppl that just didn't recover in the time frame expected. But I can honestly say it's an emotional surgery to recover from but it will all be worth it once fully healed.

How are you doing
Can you please post more pics

Doing good now just trying to get over my edema in my legs that my PS says it may have been from the antibiotics so she prescribed me a new one and to start taking benadryl. Haven't been taking any pics as I have had a hard recovery but I will once I'm fully healed.

I'm about 5 weeks now with a dehiscence on the upper incision. Been seeing my PS weekly and photos being emailed daily. No infection present thank God. Just got back from the ER as I had major swelling from my knees down to my feet. So my PS recommended to go to the ER just to make sure I didn't have a blot clot. 4 hours later at the ER with test run and no signs of any blood clots. Was diagnosed with edema from being on a longer period of bed rest and not enough walking. It's been a very emotional recovery and was totally not expecting any problems but I'm just thankful that everything is turning out positive even if my recovery will be longer than 6 weeks.

Hey girl - sorry to hear about your edema, but glad to know you don't have an infection! Hang in there! I'm almost 4 weeks post op and I agree that recovery (from butt implants) is very emotionally and physically taxing. It's probably one of the hardest things that I've ever done. I can't wait to go back to being "normal."

Awww thanks and yes very emotional. It's crazy how a surgery like this can cause that. I go in tomorrow for my 5 week follow up so praying for good news and incision healing good. Im just so happy I never got an infection. I just want this to be all over already I can't stand sleeping on my stomach. My whole body is so sore from getting in and out of bed. Thanks for ur comment and I'll keep u posted on any changes :)
