NOT Recommended for Sensitive Skin / Allergic Reaction

The Green Peel application was completely bearable, just felt like an intense exfoliation. Skin felt sensitive to the touch after the treatment. Turned quite red during the evening and woke up scratching my face in the middle of the night (obviously a big no no, but couldn’t help myself.) Day 1 after the green peel I was bright red and super itchy. I didn’t sleep that night because I couldn’t deal with the pain. I took an anti inflammatory, but no relief, I then took an Allergex , no relief. The following morning (Day 2 post peel) I hardly recognized myself in the mirror. I was so red, unbelievably swollen in the face and neck (flared up glands) and in immense pain. I booked a doctors appointment. The doctor gave me a cortisone injection immediately and prescribed a cortisone/epimax mixed cream to apply to my face, a 5 day antibiotic course, antihistamines and myPaid. I already feel 90% better and my face is starting to return to normal! The doctor said I obviously just have extremely sensitive skin and had a bad reaction. Nonetheless, I want to share my experience - please do not consider a Green Peel if you have sensitive skin! My trained Green Peel therapist told me I have sensitive skin but obviously didn’t think I would react this way. Needless to say, I won’t be returning for a green peel.
