Doing fantastic, saw doctor today and he states I am doing great! I feel great and so very happy I had my TT done. I had amazing results.
Doing great, post op day 19
I really can't believe it is day 19 post op, I feel great, started walking yesterday 2 miles and good news my belly button recovered, is not necrotic and is showing signs of healing, saw doc yesterday and he said I was doing fantastic too. I feel like it was quite easy for me compared to so many others and blessed it was this way. Maybe being a nurse helped too. But it feels so much better to be on the mend vs waiting for the day. I know it is so individual but when you are older, you worry about more complications. I am happy with my results. I find it a struggle to get into some of my compression garments and brought a variety of them. I like Marena the best, I like the fabric feel and compression. I also brought Leonisa, which I thought I would love with the zipper and hooks, but those are harder to get on for me but when I am walking, they have a lot more compression so I will suck up getting it on. My doc just said get spanxs, I have some of those and don't mind them now either, I don't like pulling over my incision yet but I wear a soft form fitting top under it to protect my belly button and incision. I guess next week I get told how to do scar management instructions, so whatever that is will be good to know. I am just relieved I feel good and the swelling is less, starting to walk and feel like a person again. thanks all!
Doing good, but how long are you swelled up for?
I feel like a rock, my abdomen is so hard but doc said this is normal, it hurts to put on spanx etc, anything I should do differently?

I had my TT with flank Lipo June 2015. Dr. Janitch was fantastic and an amazing Plastic Surgeon and person. I feel like I got my life back after the surgery. The office and his entire staff took excellent care of me. I had no pain or discomfort so often you hear about, my incision is beautiful and I look absolutely great. I would recommend Dr. Janitch to be your plastic surgeon. Professional on all levels.
