Best things I ever did !!

I am 55 years old, and prior to my facelift I felt much younger however looked older. I had jowls, a turkey neck and a puppet mouth. I absolutely hated looking in a mirror. It’s been 5 years since I have felt this way, however with my son getting married this summer (2015) I decided this was the year to take action. I didn’t know of any plastic surgery therefore finding the right doctor seemed like a daunting task. I started with my local plastic surgeon; however I personally did not like his after photos. Also I wanted a plastic surgeon that specialized in facial plastic surgery. I did not want a Doctor that did other body parts. I felt a facial plastic surgeon would be the most qualified. I continued to search the internet. One day I read an article from Harper’s Bazaar entitled “Best Plastic Surgeons”. Dr. Jacono was listed along with a couple of others in my state. I checked out each doctor’s website. I LOVED the after picture on Dr. Jacono’s website. I made an appointment and the rest is history. 6 weeks after surgery, I look like I did on my wedding day when I was 26. Very natural not plastic. I am so happy with Dr. Jacono and his team. He has done a wonderful job of following up with me weekly to ensure I am healing properly. There has been no issues. The whole team is so caring. I do want to mention the days leading up to the surgery were stressful. I kept second guessing my decision because that is my personality. But here is what I did learn. Statistically Dr. Jacono has the most reviews. His favorable percentage is very high on all website. I spoke to as many people who wrote positive and negative reviews as was willing to speak to me. I spoke to the editor of Harper’s Bazaar who explained that the list of the Best Plastic Surgeon was arrived at by who on the street everyone is talking about and not PR dollars. I spoke to Dr. Jacono office numerous times about all my concerns, they are amazing. 2 days before surgery I wanted to review the procedure AGAIN with Dr Jacono, my nerves were getting to me. He graciously spent time going over the surgery with pictures. Now that the surgery is done I am glad I did my homework and I DEFINITELY selected the BEST PLASTIC SURGEON.
