When I arrived at Dr Jaconos office, the waiting room was pretty busy. I had to wait for about an hour to be seen. The front staff was super friendly and they provided me with coffee and a snack and a large screen TV to keep my occupied while I waited. Once it was my turn to be seen, I was placed in a private room and met with Dr Jacono for the first time. He was very patient with me while I explained my insecurity of losing my hair and he assured me that it was normal to feel that way about my situation. He was very calm when explaining things to me and he came off as being very confident. I was really at ease during the entire consultation which lasted about 40-50 minutes. After he heard my complaints, he offered a few solutions to help with my shrinking hairline and balding crown. He then showed me some before and after photos of other patients he had treated. His work was great and in the end, i decided to go with a neograft hair restoration procedure and scheduled it for a few weeks from that day. On the day of the procedure, I was taken to the opposite side of his clinic. I was blown away by the twin surgical suites that he had on this side. Rarely have I been to an office where you can get the procedure done without going to a separate facility like an outpatient clinic or hospital. This was really neat. The procedure lasted for about 6 hours and I was completely awake the entire time. I listened to music and even ate lunch with their surgical team after the graft harvesting was completed. They were able to harvest the target number of 2100 grafts without any issues. There was little to no pain during the procedure and as soon as it was completed, Dr Jacono and one of the nurses came in to go over the post treatment instructions. It was pretty clear that for the next two weeks I would have to follow a few simple rules but knowing that i would grown new hair in the upcoming months made it all worth while. The biggest issue I had during my recovery time was not being able to make it to the gym for those first two weeks. I like to exercise and it was tough neglecting my body for that period but wow was it worth it in the end. My new permanent hair began growing within the first 30 days and by the third month you could not even tell that I had a bald spot. I am so glad I listened to Dr Jacono and had my hairline treated as well. Just having a smaller widows peak and more than 10 hairs in the front of my brow to actual do something with was nothing short of amazing!!! My overall experience was excellent from start to finish. Dr. Jacono spent as much time with me as I needed and his staff was very warm and welcoming. This was truly the best decision I ever made in my life... just dont tell my wife I said that. =) Thank You Dr Jacono and Staff! You All Are Amazing!!
