I have been wanting to be this for years. I told my hundred when we saved enough, I would do it. I didn't want to feel guilty. I always put my family first. I think that's being a mom. I just had my surgery yesterday. I feel ok! I am battling the pain killers and be nauseous. I am following my doctors instructions to a T. BTW, my husband has been a amazing nurse.

Day 2
I am feeling good. I have a lot of bruising and am swollen, but I knew that would happen. My left arm keeps falling asleep. I am not sure what that is all about, but I will call my doctor on Monday. I am not too worried about it.

Day 6
On day 6 and having some ups and downs. I bruised really bad. I sent pictures to my doctor and she reassured me that I do not have a hematoma. I was getting a little nervous. I am on a blood thinner due to blood clots running in my family history. So that is a factor with the bruising. Plus, I bruise so easily it's sad. Unfortunately, it has been bugging me. Plus my left breast keeps tightening up and getting hard. I was told that was normal too. All part of the healing process. I need to just be patient and let my body heal.

They actually look really great. They're not all square and deformed like most look in the first few weeks. I only hope mine look as good as yours after 6 days.
