2 weeks post op
I can't believe how good my incisions look. As you can see, hardly any redness.
I thought it would be helpful to share for those of you looking to do this:
I have some tingling at times that is a little uncomfortable. It comes and goes. This is expected and hasn't been terrible. Just the nerves coming back.
My pain has gone away... I can go back to most normal activity now but no crazy chest workouts at the gym. Can't wait to get some cardio in.
Sleeping is mostly normal. I found it helpful sleeping on the sofa for the first two weeks. Now I sleep with pillows since I'm a side sleeper.
I didn't seem to have much swelling but still holding on buying any other bras.
I'm still so happy. I didn't want to go too big so I went on the side of conservative. Do I feel like I could have gone a touch bigger, yes. But I was so worried about being too big, I decided to go this route. And the plus, it doesn't seem so obvious for those coworkers that might feel a little awkward around. I can hide them if I want ;)
I took a total of 10 days away from work and while I didn't need it physically, it was so nice mentally. If you have to go back sooner, don't stress. I could have gone back after day 5 I think!
