43yr Old Mother Needed a Mommy Makeover

ORIGINAL POST

It has only been one week today since my mommy...

WORTH IT$14,500
It has only been one week today since my mommy makeover including a full tummy tuck, lipo to the flanks and a breast lift with fat transfer and I am already so thankful and happy. I am so glad that I chose Dr Bengston out of all of my consults. Absolutely worth every cent! (And pain and discomfort!!)

Thank you! I am very happy so far. Crazy I cannot wear my regular jeans. I tried my biggest pair this morning and inches away from being able to button. I had to go buy stretchy pants yesterday

You will be swollen a while off and on. I busted out my leggings and stretchy comfy pants lol... once you get past the first month or so it seems some are swelling less... but I have seen some swell up to 17 months off and on. I think it's individual basis healing and how much skin they remove... I felt like a ball in the middle at first lol the skin was so tight I was walking around like erkle lolol I'm starting to be able to stand straighter now and that's taking inches off the middle too. You look amazing now but I think you will look phenomenal when the swelling goes down!!!!!

Ball-like bulge under a part of my incision?

PrincessTG
Is it common to have a ball-like bulge under my incision? Feels about the size of a bouncie ball out of a gumball machine, or an everlasting gobstopper :)
My next appointment isn’t until 11/30 and I’m not sure if I should be concerned

How are you feeling at almost three weeks post op? Do you work outside the home? I had s consult with bengston but cancelled out of fear of recovery time. I am not afraid of pain, I just really do t want to take more than two weeks off

I feel great. I have been able to stand straight since day one, stopped taking meds after four days, never had back pain. I think my biggest struggle the first two weeks was sleeping comfortably. I’m a side sleeper and that wasn’t an option. I just started to be able to this week. I was just tired from barely sleeping at night. I actually drive a lot for work but it hasn’t been bad at all. I had thought I’d needed more time too and was going there take four weeks but I didn’t need it. The swelling sucks though since I had to go buy stretchy pants to wear to work since none of my other work pants fit yet. I had a few consults and Bengston is 2.5 hours away but I’d choose him again every time! I breasts are almost healed and everything so far has been better than I could have imagined!

Four weeks post-op

PrincessTG
Feeling great! Went out last night with friends and danced a bit too much. I’m pretty sore today. I wear my garment almost 10-12 hours a day. Try to take off on Sundays. I’m looking forward to working out in a couple of weeks. Still swelling of course and it’s still pretty hard under the TT incision.

Scar is looking fabulous!!! Everything looks like it’s healing well. Your doc did a great job on your breasts!!! The scar looks great around the areola! With the way your healing it’s going to be hard to tell you had surgery at all!!!
