About 8 weeks PO

I had a Dr. Appt this week. He seems to be very happy with the results at this point. I have never had hips and they are starting to show as things pull in.,,it is nice to see some girly figure! I feel like my breasts and hips are very proportionate and natural looking for my build. I asked him about my swollen Pubic Mons area.. I told him I feel like I look like I have a "male package" when I wear fitted pants..and it is NOT attractive. He said it is still very swollen and being the lowest part of my body, with gravity it will take the longest for the swelling to go down. He said he did some lipo in that area too which makes it swollen. Strange because I thought we had asked him once after surgery if he did lipo in that area and we both thought he had said he didn't. We must have misunderstood.. he is the Dr and knows what he did and didn't do. I have been released to go ahead and wear underwire bras now! Yeah! I am still wearing my spanx he said to wear it for another 4 weeks. He said I am still 15-20% swollen in the abs at this point. I have a very strange shape to my abs it is almost cone shaped and protruding a bit. It looks very odd to me and after all my trolling on this site I have yet to see someone have this surgery and not have FLAT abs afterwards. I am hoping that it is still swollen and will look differently when the swelling is down. However, he did say my ab muscles are domed shaped?! I would like to think it is from all the ab excersises over all the years built it up like that.. ha ha.. in all seriousness I am hoping the shape isn't so pronounced when the swelling goes down.
I have also been released to excersise. I am very fearful of this. I go to a gym where we do bootcamp workouts they are VERY intense and VERY ab focused. I am so afraid of ruining something. The Dr said I won't ruin anything but if it is too painful to not work it so hard. I am really afraid to get back into it.
I leave for vacation in a week and a half and was told to be sure my incisions are covered or have sun block on them and reapply the sunblock again and again and again! I am looking forward to some time in the sun and relaxing. This weekend I will be buying some new shorts.. but not too many.. I am still not sure what size I will wear once the swelling goes down!
I am feeling great.. back to my crazy busy life.. seems like a long long time ago.. that I had my surgery and it has only been 8 weeks. I hope that rest of you are healing happily!

Just shy of 8 weeks PO

My apologies, I have not been doing very well at posting on here lately. Once you get back to feeling better and real life settles back in...things get busy!
I am still dealing with quite a bit of swelling :( I am still losing weight..It is a slow progress lately, but without being released to workout yet..The best way for me to control my weight is eating healthier.
I have an appt this coming week with my doctor, I am excited for that!
I took a moment this morning to take some pictures for my own benefit of seeing my progression and decided to share them on here.
The belly still has some swelling to go down. The pubic mons is still VERY swollen!! My hips are slowly but surely showing some definition I never had before.
My scars seem to be looking pretty good!

5 weeks out

Just thought I would give a little update... Last week I went to the Dr's again I had another 20 cc's drained out of me. The doctor said I am looking good. I asked if I can take some time during the day without my cg..he said "no.". My next appt isn't until the end of Feb so it looks like another 4 weeks of the horrible, terrible cg for me!
I have gone back to clean eating so between that and surgery I have lost 12 pounds! My doctor was very happy about that. I told him he did what he coul, now it is my turn. I asked about excersising he said we are not ready to talk about that yet..no excersising..watching what I eat is fine but no excersising.
My swimsuits have arrived and I love so many of them it is hard to choose and if I didn't have over $500.00 invested I would keep them all!
I know I said I would post pictures but my swelling has been terrible lately so I will post them as soon as it goes down.
The doctor did say my breasts are settled and the swelling has gone down so I could go bra shopping. I look at most of your pictures and you ladies tend to be straight out front.. My doctor and I had decided with my build that a lower profile implant would fit better and be more natural looking. He said I was C cup but needed to fill some upper pole. If you look at my before pictures they were like pancakes. Before surgery they asked what size I was hoping to be at the end of surgery..I said a D. After surgery they said I ended up a full C had he gone the next size they would have been too wide for me. I must say I was so bummed. Well ladies I went to Victoria's secret this weekend and was measured as a DD! The lady helping me said I don't know what you started at but that is pretty impressive..it made my night!!
Mine are a bit apart just how I was built but with some nice push from the sides...it works!!!
As far as TT..lots of swelling I am a rather odd shape right now..I have always been square..no hips... I now have more of an hour glass shape which I am loving! My tummy however ..looking down is shaped like a football..I am hoping and praying when the swelling goes down. It will smooth out!!!
Happy healing to you all :).
