Hi girls! I know it's been a while since my last update....and I missed my 6 week check in. I got a new puppy last week and I might as well have had another baby! I'm exhausted and pretty much have no time for myself and am trying to nap when the puppy naps....sound familiar LOL.

I've posted a few pictures. I am going to see my ps tomorrow for my 2nd post op appt (the 1st appt was 1 week post-op to remove the drains). I have a few issues that I will be discussing with my ps. I have mixed emotions and feel I might be nit picking but at the same time I've paid a lot of money for this surgery and I want the best results as possible.

My issues are:
#1 I have that nasty armpit fat! My issue is I mentioned this to my ps before my sx and told him I didn't like it and asked if he could lipo it. He said not to worry about it that it'll all blend in after the BA. Hmmmm it did not and I'm thinking I should have insisted.

#2 My boobs have not fallen into place yet and are still looking snoopyish, not the ps fault but I want to ask him if there is something I should be doing to help. At my 1 week post op appt I asked if I need to do any exercises and he said no.

#3 My tt scar is not even. My right side is up way higher than the left side. The right side is nice and tight. The left side if you can see in the pics has an area that looks like it's a big buldge of fat? I think maybe it needs a revision and there is extra skin that needs to be removed and tightened again.

I did want to mention for those of you who have just had tt done, after 3 weeks I had a huge stitch come out of my scar. I sent a picture to my nurse and she confirmed that's what it was and reassured me it will eventually dissolve. It took 3 more weeks for it to finally go away. I noticed that area was really itchy and within 1 night the stitch had disappeared. In the mean time another stitch popped out and it dissolved within a couple days. I just put some polysporin on it and covered with a gauze.

#4 and most important issue is my lipo to my inner thighs. I am not happy with it. I spoke with my ps at great length what my expectations were. I told him how I have issues with having to buy jeans that are bigger than I need because my thighs are so big. Then I have a huge gap in my jeans at my waist! I also told him I want to have a space between my legs when I stand with my feet together. I don`t feel like there is much difference in my legs. I was very good about wearing my cg and still am wearing them. I`ve have been using Arnicare gel and Arnica Montana pellets religiously every day. I did not have any swelling anywhere at all during this surgery and was very fortunate!

So I don`t know why, but I feel guilty for wanting to express my concerns tomorrow at my appt but I know I have to. I have a trip to Mexico planned for January and was really looking forward to wearing my bikinis and feeling really good about myself. I am very pleased with my tt and ba, don`t get me wrong. I think my ps did a great job picking the size for my implants. So tomorrow is a busy day, 3 hours travel to then 3 hours travel home for the ps. Will have to do some state side shopping and dinner.....of course! LOL I will post my results from my post op appt and keep you updated.

Have a great week everyone!

Discuss ALL your concerns with your PS and get an answer for each one. You may or may not be satisfied with all of them. You'll like be told to wait until the 6 month mark to evaluate for any revisions, if necessary. You're looking good and healing nicely. I'm surprised you haven't been massaging your boobs to help them settle into the pockets. Chiklet3 has been drilling that down into my mind for a long time now :) Your doc is your best source of guidance, of course. Please let us know how your appointment goes and enjoy dinner and shopping :)

I think you look gorgeous! But I totally understand when you don't feel good about yourself. I hope you get some answers from your PS.

You look great! Your concerns are definitely warranted, just remember you're only 7 weeks post. I wouldn't stress about any of it right now. Let's us know how the appt goes. I have mine tomorrow as well.

I've been having some trouble with updates on my RS blog (or it could just be MY "extensive" RS blog that's rejecting them) but I thought I'd post a little message on everyone's blog I've been following to keep in touch... so MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR! In case you haven't been on in a while, I hope you are healing well and may you enjoy your new transformation as the best gift to yourself for this holiday! :)

.....when are these boobs going to drop so they don't look like snoopy any more? Ugh I see pics of other girls and theirs have already dropped and look nice and round and beautiful and mine are still so high! My ps said there's no need to do massages when I went to see him at my 1 week po appt. I haven't gone out to buy any new pretty bra's (even though I can't wear them for a couple more months) but I wanted to do some shopping. I don't want to buy any until they drop so I can really see what the final look is going to be. Ugh just having a little pity party here....sorry girls.

So it was my 3 weeks yesterday. I'm feeling pretty good. I have been driving a little more and venturing out a little more too. I do still have muscle pain if I walk too much so I do try to limit it so as to not push myself. 2 days ago I found myself using my arms to lift myself up and I could feel my implant in my left breast move a little (ahhhhh, freaked me out). Man was that a weird feeling. Not sure if that maybe means it's dropping into place a little bit now, which would be great because I still feel like they are still up a little high but they are softening up. My tt scar looks absolutely amazing and I am very pleased with it! For some reason the pics always look a little more red than it really is but trust me it looks great. I am still using my Arnicare gel and Arnica Montana pellets and am still using my cg 24/7 to keep any swelling down. Although the nurse has told me to be patient with my lipo on my inner thighs as apparently they take the longest to show results, I'm still not happy with them and don't think enough was removed.

So I went to my book club on Monday night....I'd like to say it was a big mistake but I laughed literally for 3 hours straight. I had the best night ever and it was great to get out. Our book club consists of 20% book discussion and 80% drinking and talking about things you could not even imagine. I did not partake in the alcohol but volunteered to be the DD for the night! I do have to say I haven't take pain meds in a couple weeks now but I did find I had to take one when I got home that night as I was in pain from laughing so hard and for so long.

I go back to work on the 30th and I'm hoping I'll be good to go for that. I will have been off for 30 days. I don't go back to see my ps until mid November.

Happy hump day everyone!!!

I'm so glad you're doing well. With the muscle repair and not being able to laugh for so long, it gets depressing! I'm glad you have a good time.

Thanks, it does get a little lonely and depressing when you're staying home and my family are all busy with work and school. It was so nice to get out with the girls and have fun....it was worth it LOL.

Thank you so much.....it's nice to hear someone else thinks my results are good. I'm really only hearing from family and sometimes I feel like they're bias ya know! Haven't seen many girls at work but the one's from book club went nuts over my results and after only 3 weeks that really made me feel good!

You're supposed to smile and voice a "ha ha ha" but not really laugh! LOL!!!! :p I'm glad you're healing well... how's the biocorneum working for you. I still love it. Still on my same 20g bottle - haven't started my 50g yet... so you know it lasts a long time. Be patient with the inner thigh lipo - I guess we're not the professionals so we don't know what time will tell in the coming months. I'm SO happy with the revised RS site change so I'm back to posting now... now that I can clearly see where everything is (and is supposed to be)! sheesh

OMG there was no way I could get away with just smiling & nodding....it was a great night! I like the Biocorneum and am just using it for under the breast scar. Do you use it on your tt scar too? I only bought the 20g size ($47.99 on Amazon) because I hadn't tried it before and didn't know if I would like it. I actually didn't realize it came in a 50g size....I can't imagine what that would cost. I find my breast scar seems thicker than my tt scar....was it like that for you? I've been using the Bio Oil on my tt scar and kind of massage it in a bit and I am so happy with my tt scar. It seems like it's really fading a lot. I did notice the other day when I went to the mall after, there was a tiny spot that got a little angry and turned red on me, maybe something rubbing on it. I remember watching your video, you use the tape over the scar after applying the Biocorneum right (under the breast)? I also wanted to ask you if you use the tape over your tt scar? If you do when did you start that? I'm only 3 weeks out and I feel like if I were to put the tape on the tt scar I feel like it'll rip my incision open when I take it off! Am I over reacting or should I wait a little longer? Sorry for all the questions.....just love being able to pick someone else's brain that's been through all this already! Thanks girlie.....have a great night!
